Yelp is adding a prominent consumer notice to crisis pregnancy center listings to more clearly distinguish them from clinics that provide abortion services, in a policy change shared first with Axios.

The big picture: Yelp's move is the latest tech-company response to a post-Roe world in which abortion information has become a significant online battleground, with both sides of the debate applying intense pressure.

Warning! Danger! The flagged center does NOT kill your baby. Don’t go there if you want to kill your baby!

The day has come when a no-kill center is flagged as a bad thing. (But for pets, a no-kill center is a good thing.)

Someone should flag Planned Barrenhood “clinics” as purported health care centers which do NOT provide mammograms.... because they don’t.

A lot of sites use yelp as their business search resource, so if you look for a barber on one site, it will send you to Yelp.

Yelp joins the “Kill the baby” crowd. It’s been the Democrat party Prime Directive since about 1970.

I don’t use yelp. The name does not resemble what they do. Yelp is what a dog does when kicked. They got stuck with a URL that nobody else wanted. Not to mention that they are crooked as hell.

Exactly. The few times I’ve looked at Yelp, I see ads first and foremost. Then a few suck up comments obviously made by employees of the company.

Google Reviews. The only place to get mostly fair and honest comments.

Yelp is an extortion scheme. They call to try to get a business to advertise. If you do, they’ll push good ratings to the top. If you don’t, guess what happens?

“Yelp is an extortion scheme.” The people at Yelp think they are important or something.
