In Ukraine, Ovsyannikova is largely regarded just as a propagandist, her appearance on TV was ignored or held against her, and Ukrainian journalists were unhappy with her being awarded prizes. Her press conference in Kyiv in May 2022 was canceled due to the "uproar".
Why?
Because Russia isn’t

Yes. Unfortunately they bring their caste system here. Americans are untouchables.
side note: in a regime change operation in April 2022, the neocon globalists in DC and elsewhere ousted the Pakistani prime minister Imran Khan, a national cricket hero in Pakistan.
It was surprising, because they were able to do this in the face of intense popular support.
But as is usual in that area of Asia, bribery and corruption will out.
The reason people can come here FROM INDIA and other countries - to compete on a fair and level playing field and win - is because our founding fathers set up a government based on a culture playing by natural rules of decency.
People from India, like people from many other countries can't do as well in their home countries because someone in their home county pulled off the 'thumb on the scales of justice' thing... and the 'elites' of their home countries have the edge over people who are competent.
It's the reason so many conservative Americans are fighting against special privilege for white liberal elites - their special privilege - and the privileges of their favored pet victim groups. That type of unfairness can bring down the whole wonderful experiment.
Fair play - all of us equal before the law - without favorites IS THE GOOSE THAT LAYS THE GOLDEN EGGS. And it's why competent intelligent people from India can do better here than in India. It's the same for people from most other countries too.
There are about 25 million ethnic Russians living in various former CCCP republics not in the Russian Federation.

Uzbeks, they are the weak link in the Great Chain of Socialism!
At least 3600 had found their way across our southern border early in the year. How many now? Open question with over 5 million people from all around the world pouring across our border as of August 20 since Biden took office.
What is the “Deep State line” on RuZZians leaving their country?
What is the “America-First Patriots line” on RuZZians leaving their country?
What's with "fled the country"? She left.
Bad translation of "getting different certifications," perhaps. One big barrier to emigration is getting one's domestic degrees or other certificates recognized internationally.

Well she’s also a student so there’s that. Young kids generally want to venture out of their country and especially their hometowns. It’s much cheaper and easier to travel and move than in my day.
The Russian Government tried to staunch the outflow of IT folks, even kicking back many at the airport from boarding flights.
Word got around, and most just reported other kinds of work, or went to other areas, where they were allowed to travel (like the Caucasus), and travelled onward from there.
Go to Dubai. Plenty of them there.
If you can afford them.
“I wonder what “making different documents” means.
Bad translation of “getting different certifications,” perhaps.”
People with IT degrees were actually being prevented from boarding flights to leave Russia, so they got different credentials, to get through security.
A couple of my favorite Russian Vloggers have left, for places like Georgia.
