As President Joe Biden's polls stagnate and the midterms approach, we are now serially treated to yet another progressive melodrama about the dangers of a supposed impending radical right-wing violent takeover.
This time the alleged threat is a Neanderthal desire for a "civil war."
The FBI raid on former President Donald Trump's Florida home, the dubious rationale for such a historic swoop, and the popular pushback at the FBI and Department of Justice from roughly half the country have further fueled these giddy "civil war" conjectures.
Recently "presidential historian" Michael Beschloss speculated about the parameters of such an envisioned civil war.
Beschloss is an ironic source. Just days earlier, he had tweeted references to the executions of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, who passed U.S. nuclear secrets to the Soviet Union in the 1950s, in connection with the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago.
That was a lunatic insinuation that Trump might justly suffer the same lethal fate due to his supposed mishandling of "nuclear secrets." Unhinged former CIA Director Michael Hayden picked up on Beschloss death-penalty prompt, adding that it "sounds about right."

We aren’t there yet. It would be better to have a civil divorce than a Civil War.
Until there is ONE state that had enough support to turn down federal subsidies in exchange for not enforcing federal mandates (EDUCATION, but also agriculture and energy) we won’t be there.

Lack of secrecy.
With social media, the NSA and the attitudes of most folks these days there is no secrecy.
You cannot secretly coordinate anything due to government surveillance and bragging "warriors" posting online, texting and talking on the phone who will blow their "cover" and make themselves and their compatriots targets.
Even in the 1700s, secrecy was hard to maintain.

Author calls my well-reasoned - even if not fully agreed upon by my peers - calls for a Civil war “Neanderthal”.
I don’t appreciate that.
People all have different understanding of war, and all even have the opportunity to change their understanding as they grow older.
I will never dismiss a fellow’s opinion, perspective or perception of a Civil War because quite frankly - no one (Myself included) fully understands the deeper consequences of what we call for.
I can tell all those who wish to listen this: The pattern is moving toward this end and to close our eyes and put our heads in the sand is certainly not even on the list of viable responses.
We’ve tried to reason for decades. We’ve gone to the polls and fought with our ballot. That was completely taken away at 2am when at dozens of key voting points tens of thousands of ballots were entered for THE SAME GUY. By all stretches of logic and justification their corruption stands triumphant.
Our options are removed as quickly as we can leverage them. The time of kinetic warfare is coming and I fear it. I fear it because we might be looking at a dramatic reduction of global population - 10% or so. That’s the impact of the Black Death that removed 10% of the global population from the census. That kind of thing scares me.
But I still think it’s happening, it’s going to happen and I’m doing my best to prepare.

Wars are fought by the young, and the only ones making CW noise are keyboard noisemakers.
Even if the <50 crowd got excited, you cannot even put up organized resistance much less fight a war when you’re totally dependent on the enemy for your communications channels. Don’t kid yourself, they will shut ANY channel down that becomes a threat. Just watch and see.

This is another display of liberal confusion to try to get a leg up on a political contest. By going after the contention of Trump passing information the Russians can now probably pass to us is using a false history comparison to mislead the intent of the raid. It had nothing to do with nuclear secrets. It had to do with the effort to discredit and stop Trump from running for office...that’s all.
And the last high office person to pass secrets concerning the abilities of making and using a nuclear device was Bill Clinton, along with Loral and Lockheed Martin corporations, passing the MRV to China in the late 90’s. They all were fined by the US State Department.

And let’s face it, while $32M will piss Trump off, it was going to kill Clinton who didn’t have it then. (He got it through online begging) So if the possible punishment for Trump, if they can figure out a way to tag him with it, is nothing that would really harm him, then there is only one other possibility for the libs to do this for reason...to stop him from getting into office again and wiping out the swamp with their failure over the last couple of years. And they know heads will roll.

One assumes that anyone who would go there would continue to use electronic gear for anything. If a rebellion began I wouldn’t have any electrical gear near me or use it for anything unless it benefited my cause.
I think it is possible for another civil war to start but I don’t think it will be anything at the state level like 1861. More than likely it will be someone who’s just had enough abuse and chooses a target or group. Whether or not others follow is the kicker. I would envision something more akin to an IRA type civil war. The left seems hell bent on repeating it’s previous disasters time and again. Once someone has been pushed to the point of rebellion the first shot is the hardest, after that there should be no hesitation. I pray it doesn’t come to that.
