Stephen King: I Don’t Understand the People Who Continue to Support ‘Sociopath’ Trump
Breitbart ^ | 08/17/2022 | ALANA MASTRANGELO

Posted on 08/17/2022 12:04:00 PM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

Novelist, Hollywood producer, and left-wing Trump-basher Stephen King says he cannot understand why people continue to support former President Donald Trump, because he believes “most people are good,” and Trump is a “horrible person” who “engaged in criminal behavior.”

“I think that most people are good,” King said in a recent interview with the Sunday Times. “Most people will give you the shirt off their back.”

He can’t understand because he has a pathological need to cling to his mistaken premises.

I used to read his books. Gave up when I realized he really did think Newt Gingrich was scarier than any of the demonic stuff he wrote about.

Hey there, Steve. For your information, Donald Trump has often times given substantial amounts of money to help ordinary people who are in need. The media doesn’t report on that stuff very much, because it doesn’t fit their agenda. Many times he did it privately, when no one was looking, on purpose. That’s because of the kind of person he is. Also, as a public person, i.e. a politician, he did more to help the average working person in this country than any other president since Reagan, and before him, Eisenhower. He has actually fought for the little guy against the monied interests that control 99% of the politicians out there. Besides, he’s an unabashed patriot, and looked out for the interests of this country, meaning its people, not foreign and often hostile nations like China, Saudi Arabia and Ukraine. So that’s why we vote for him.

As far as the sociopath accusation, let’s see who you call a sociopath once the Epstein list is released. Donald Trump never took part in any of that garbage, and is actually someone to be admired in terms of his actions. Was or is he perfect? No, but neither is anyone else. However, he is far better than the vast, vast majority of politicians that we have seen in the last hundred or more years.

A man who writes the most bizarre horrifying stories created in his mind calls Trump a sociopath? Just another celeb buying into the talking points of Hollywood and other the socialists and commies. I’ve always thought that man was somewhat off.

which is why HE embraces hating Trump and his followers.

trump marginally allows Christian bible believers to influence his decisions and policies.

a no go zone for secular satanists like him I suppose.

I read his books years ago. The Stand was the only one that I thought was decent. I finally quit when I realized that he wasn’t normal. Normal people don’t come up with the stuff he does. He’s evil.

I will never cease to be amazed at how a person fully capable of reading and writing can be so stupid.

Stephen King is A good writer. Granted his genre is sick and twisted but he writes good characters. However, looking at his work, I would not give his opinion on any real human being much weight.

I was going to investigate business opportunities with Trump that I’m sure would be worth many tens of millions of dollars - but not after learning this!!!

I don’t understand why people like you (King) can’t sit down and shut up...you have a sh*tload of money...have a drink, enjoy that money, and mind your own damn business. Period.

I thought The Stand and ‘Salem’s Lot were good.

‘ C’mon over and we’ll watch the Red Sox game.
But what will we do after the second inning?

Little bits like that grounded the fantasy In reality.
