Would have been a lot less has President Dufus not issued that stupid Executive Order two hours after he took office. Thanks, Stupid, for the inflation.

Impose sanctions, simultaneously - and grossly - restrict our own supply to increase the price and help the recipient of the sanctions rake in more cash...brilliant strategy.

I’m sure flipping the SWIFT switch inspires confidence in the US around the world.

“But sanctions?”

The article goes on to say:

“energy earnings only partly compensates for the damage from sanctions to the economy overall, analysts said.”

“The impact of sanctions on Russia’s economy is very uneven. In some sectors, it has been catastrophic, such as the car industry.”

“Besides autos, he cited IT and finance as two of the sectors worst hit.”

Oil revenues seem to have peaked in May or early June. Prices are down 25% since then. When they get down to the pre-COVID norm around $60, Russia will be totally hosed.

Natural gas exports are already in the disaster zone for them. Because of sanctions.

Russia is winning the war on ground and the sanction war. It’s sickening to see the neocons defend the disastrous Biden regime decisions made regarding Russian and this war.

“Russia sees 38% rise in energy export earnings this year”

Firstly, that is likely BS. It is published by the Russian Government, during war.

Secondly, it is a projection through the end of the year, not an actual. The peak of Russian energy revenues is past, and even that was not enough to save them from running increasing Government budget deficits, burning through their remaining foreign reserves, defaulting on their Government debt for the first time since 1917, and having to resort to a somewhat extreme money printing spree (total ruble supply up over 50%, in less than six months).

Hard times are ahead for the Russian economy and finances - and they are approaching fast.

You just keep doubling down on the horrible decisions made by the Biden regime.

You have RDS -- Russian Derangement Syndrome. You hate Russia so much you don't care what a disaster the sanction war has been for this country and Europe or that tens of thousands of Ukrainians are dying fighting a proxy war, which it can't possibly win, in defense 'the liberal world order".

You and your ilk a menace to the country and the conservative movement. You and yours need to go the war of Liz Cheney.

GDP of Texas - a single state - is $2 trillion per year (that’s $2,000 billion)

and Russia gets a measly $337 billion from oil? And that’s already its main export?

Wow, Russia really is small and poor
