Later, Joseph of Arimathea asked Pilate for the body of Jesus. Now Joseph was a disciple of Jesus, but secretly because he feared the Jewish leaders.

I find debating the regular Free Republic hateful, ignorant anticatholic Free Republic commenters to be impossibly closed minded and illogical as to defy debate.

I hope this thread doesn’t get into a debate about HOW and WHY people practice their religion. It is destined to do so.
Well; Christianity anyway...

13 Now who is there to harm you if you are zealous for what is good? 14 But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled, 15 but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect, 16 having a good conscience, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame. 17 For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that should be God's will, than for doing evil.

" I read the catechism."Which is a poor excuse for lack of an argument and further testifies that it is you who is so "closed minded and illogical as to defy debate"

"“… hit-piece on Catholicism and the rosary has actually increased rosary sales.” This might tell you something" And sales of the Quran and Islamic related literature greatly increased following the Charlie Hebdo shooting, while sales of copies of the Bible greatly increased after the Reformation. Which means the increased sales ruler used by you does not help your case, and tells me this is a desperate poor attempt at an argument.

Bump for the evening. Some good information on this thread. In this spiritual battle we need all the weapons we can use. History has proven what a weapon it is.

I once saw a rosary made with 15 decades (vice the usual five)I was told the old rosary had 15 decades. The newer rosary has five.
I was out walking and found a rosary bracelet. It has 10 beads and a cross. If anyone would like that, let me know.

Not sure the point you’re trying to make. If I go ahead and fearlessly witness to the students while I’m supposed to be teaching them ELA, and I get let go, which they can do for any reason here in this state, are you offering to pay my mortgage? That’s awful thoughtful of you.
I can pm you my address. You can also Zelle me.
If that’s NOT on the table, then let me do what I can to be a good influence AND keep my job/play the game.
To: daniel1212; stanne
I don’t even know what a catechism is.
I have read the Bible, however. When did the Bible become not enough?
