Garland, Wray Must Be Impeached for Unconscionable Trump Raid | Opinion
Newsweek, via MSN ^ | Aug. 15, 2022 | Mike Davis

Posted on 08/15/2022 7:18:11 AM PDT by libstripper

For over a year, we've heard Democrats wailing about existential threats to "democracy!" Curiously, this has happened while these same Democrats in Congress have worked hand-in-glove with their fellow Democrats in the Justice Department to disregard all norms to hunt down and attempt to destroy President Joe Biden's chief political rival, former President Donald Trump, as well as Trump's top aides and even his political supporters.

Excellent article showing why there was no legal basis for the raid. Indeed, Mr. Davis goes so far as to cite a Supreme Court case that said a president has complete and plenary power over classification and declassification that can be done anyway the president wants to do it.

Mr. Davis is also extremely well-qualified to issue this opinion since he is a lawyer and is described as follows at the end of the article:

"Mike Davis, the former chief counsel for nominations to then-Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, is the founder and president of the Article III Project (A3P). A3P defends constitutionalist judges and the rule of law."

It's amazing watching the rest of the MSM come out to attack anybody who criticizes the feebs.

"Leave the gestapo alone!"

When are we going to have some “oversight” of the maggots in Congress?

Nowadays we hear talk in the UFO/UAP community of multiverses and alternative dimensions existing side-by-side.

We need look no further than our own country for evidence of this.

Democrats and Republicans live in separate but parallel dimensions.

Which is why not only will there be no impeachment for the Trump raid, half (actually less than half) the American populace lives in a universe where the "raid" was an act of extreme patriotism.

Nutty? Well, of course.

But it exists none-the-less.

That is our job.

If each of us does not get right smack in their filthy faces, then its our fault.

And do not try calling or emailing them. They will ignore you and send a nice form reply saying how great they are doing for you.

In the article: The FBI missed the Iranian Terrorist Attack carried out against Salman Rushdie. The perpetrator was in communication with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard on social media for weeks before the attack.

At a minimum, it would be nice if Grassley and McConnell supported the idea of an investigation IF they were lucky to have the support of GOP voters who rewarded them with a majority.

I know, everybody seems to forget 2017-2018 when they had the WH, the house the senate and did NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING!!!!! All this talk about “sweeping the midterms” if they can overcome election fraud. Then what? Do people actually think they are going to do anything while that criminal RINO McConnell is in charge?

Never happen. They’re both democrats, regardless their actual party of record.

They have the media, big tech, the alphabets and more to provide political cover.

You would need to elect different Republicans, most of the ones we have elected are Assistant Democrats.

Within a few months of the R’s gaining back control of the House there will be lots of posturing and political theater, but very little to nothing in the way of results.

I have zero faith in the Republican Party to stand up for the right things.

It amazes me that after decades of being continually disappointed by the GOP people still think “things will be different this time”.

“Excellent article showing why there was no legal basis for the raid”

It is a good article but the important information will be what they find in the stuff taken.

Very good, clear article that sets it all out.

The other entertaining thing is that Garland and all the others involved in this farce kept changing their story, not only of who ordered the raid, but the basis for it in the first place.

Uh...National Records...uh, classified documents...uh (ok, this’ll do it!), nuclear codes...

I hope everyone understands that impeachment alone means almost nothing. Thanks to the Rat use of impeachment twice on Trump. It’s been rendered into “political noise” as far as the public is concerned. Its trial in the Senate with conviction and removal where it has meaning. Even if every GOP’er in the Senate voted for removal where are the extra 17 votes for removal going to come from? Doing it to make a moral point perhaps? Ok, but the only people who will be impressed will be those doing the action will be themselves. They’ll be impressed with themselves! The public won’t see it that way! They’ll just view it as a waste of time & money, just political “grandstanding”. More politics as usual! Therefore, its likely to backfire!

See “elections”

You’re asking the wrong question...when will we have fair and honest elections?

It is called the "Abused Wife " Syndrome. Or "battered Wife" Syndrome. They believe the Republicans when they say, "Things will be different this time". And "We will do this and that if you will elect us" But they are never different. And they never do this and that.

Only President Trump did or tried his best to do what he said he would do. And the Republicans teamed with the Democrats to execute a Coup. Get him out of Office. And replace him with Lying Joe Biden. Which is why we are in the mess we are now. And things are only going to get worse. Enjoy!

Even if Trump took classified records, that isn't a crime. The president has the inherent constitutional power to declassify any record he wants, in any manner he wants, regardless of any otherwise-pertinent statute or regulation that applies to everyone else. The president does not need to obtain Congress' or a bureaucrat's permission—or jump through their regulatory or statutory hoops—to declassify anything. The Supreme Court reaffirmed this in the 1988 case, Department of the Navy v. Egan

The domestic enemies damn well know this but they will ignore it and get away with it anyway. Why? Because our entire government is compromised, now taken over by enemies of the USA thanks to 28 years of the Bush/Clinton/Obama criminal cabals which are treated like royalty today as our country sinks.

"We go together

Like rama lama lama ka dinga da dinga dong

Remembered forever

As shoo-bop sha wadda wadda yippity boom de boom

Chang chang changitty chang sha-bop

That's the way it should be

Wah-oooh, yeah!

We're one of a kind

Like dip da-dip da-dip doo-wop da doo-bee doo

Our names are signed

Boogedy boogedy boogedy boogedy

Shooby doo-wop she-bop

Chang chang changitty chang sha-bop

We'll always be like one, wa-wa-wa-one"

In the particular case of Garland I think his actions (and non-actions) have been so egregious I believe its worth making the effort to air the dirty laundry. Force him to endure days of probing questions about his abuses, lies, and hypocrisy. Grill him like never before.

Sure, in the end he won’t be impeached but his “record” will be preserved for history. This will also serve as a reminder to other agency heads that this too can happen to you (assuming of course the Republicans make an earnest effort to fully expose his wrongdoing).

How else would you propose punishing him?
