A police officer never knows what they may see out on patrol. They could break up a fight. There could be a crazy person yelling at a squirrel. A few months ago, we saw one cop pursuing a drunk Amish guy riding a horse.
An officer from the Thrall police department in Texas ran into Kyle Rittenhouse.
So, he posted a photo of this celebrity sighting on Facebook, saying "Make those stops, you never know who you might meet. Today it was Kyle Rittenhouse, welcome to Texas."
Rittenhouse, of course if well-known for having answered calls online to defend businesses during violent rioting, looting and arson unfolding in nearby Kenosha, Wisconsin, in August 2021, when Antifa and BLM thugs descended on the city.
Amid the chaotic scene, Rittenhouse opened fire, shooting three people, two of them fatally. He was acquitted of all charges in the shootings, as the jury agreed it was a legitimate act of self-defense.
But to the far-left, Rittenhouse is public enemy #1.
So people on Facebook immediately attacked the police department, and demanded the post be deleted and that they apologize.
Typical responses:
"Sick you are making him out as a hero. Shame on your officer and this department," whined one loser.
"I was thinking they couldn't stoop any lower, but it's the police..." said another anti-police jerk who is no doubt voting for Beto.

The police took and posted a pic of them with a free man who was acquitted by a jury of his peers in a fair trial of trumped up, politically motivated charges.
It is a two-year private college in Bryan, a few miles from A&M. It is comparable to a community college. Lots of students go there to get their grades high enough to transfer to A&M.
Blinn College is a good school, tied to a conservative Methodist denomination. It is not Rice University nor is it a JUCO for athletes.
Not sure which campus he will attend, but the main campus is in Brenham TX. In a previous career our company supplied Blinn with most AV and teleconferencing equipment.
They have some genuinely good people there. Plus a few jerks that are trying to get promoted in the college ranks.
A&M is less woke than any other public university in Texas, with the possible exception of Angelo State in San Angelo.
A&M Is one of the more conservative universities in TX. It has the largest military corps of cadets outside the military academies. Unfortunately it isn’t as conservative as it once was , but is a far cry from UT.
This kid dispatched three scumbags at the age of 19, a really great feat at such a young age.
Why should The Police Department bow down to the Woke Mob?
Rittenhouse was found not guilty by reason of Self Defense
by a jury of his peers.
Plus they have a maritime program.

I will never ever understand the logic of the left in a million years.
The kid volunteers to protect a car park from being destroyed - which in fact happens that night to other car parks. A pedophile threatens to kill Rittenhouse. Rittenhouse runs away, the pedo chases after him until Rittenhouse has no choice but to defend himself. After he does, a mob threatens to kill Rittenhouse, one smashes him over the head with a skateboard, one tries to shoot him all caught on video. Rittenhouse again defends himself.
So what exactly are they against here? Are they saying he should have allowed himself to be killed? Is this the logic they are standing by?
