Those numbers right there look more impressive than the
charts > IMO.

Looks like a (rough estimate) increase of 150% 2021 over
2020.

I’m not sure that the amounts paid out provide any useful information.

If the charts showed what percentage of polices paid out each year then this data would be meaningful.

None of those graphs are linear.

If this is an area of interest for you, research the demographics of those likely to have life insurance policies. I’m guessing many unmarried adults are not policy holders.

Since death certificates are difficult to die without, that’ll prolly be the best measure of mortality. How that data can be acquired is a mystery to me.

These numbers alone don’t mean anything. You will notice that payments for death claims had increased even before 2020. That’s generally a function of demographics and inflation.

The NUMBER of claims — combined with the AGES of the deceased — would be far more meaningful.

I’m no fan of the vaccine but these numbers dont tell much. Its arguable the trend was happening earlier before covid.

What about the years prior? Show the last 10-20 years of data. Then when there is a hockey stick in the last 3 years, then I will say it’s worth looking into.
