Last month, legendary financial and geopolitical cycle analyst Martin Armstrong said the time to prepare is now for the chaos that is coming in 2023. The destabilization of America has been kicked into high gear early with the FBI raid on President Trump’s Florida home this week. Armstrong explains, “This really is unprecedented . . . . In the United States, we are supposed to have civilized transfer of power. That’s all coming to an end. I am not being dramatic here. From a legal perspective, this is completely unprecedented. The danger of this is once they have done this, if the Republicans are ever allowed to get back into power, they would only end up doing the same thing to the Democrats. . . . It’s striking a real deathblow to the very idea of a democracy. We are not, at least we were not until today, someplace like Guatemala where you throw the opposition in jail, kill them or whatever you do. This is what’s going on. They are so afraid of Trump running in 2024 that this is just over the top. Once they did this, there is no end.” To read more or to watch the interview, click here to visit USAWatchdog.
As a follower since 2000, all his forecasts ( tied to cycles) have panned out. 2023 promises to be breathtaking.
TURLEY——Five Lingering Questions In the Wake of the Mar-a-Lago Raid
-——Merrick Garland said that the DOJ would have used other less intrusive means if they were possible. Yet, it would seem that such options were not just possible but obvious, including the use of a second subpoena. Moreover, even if a raid was necessary, it is not clear why the DOJ would descend upon Mar-a-Lago with such a massive show of force rather than send a few agents over with the warrant.
-——If the FBI believed that there was nuclear-related information in the resort, it certainly did not seem to move with dispatch. The last communication, according to the Trump team, was in June. Even after securing a warrant, there was reportedly a delay in executing the warrant. Why?
-——If the FBI suspected that high-level material was retained at the resort, did they identify the material to the Trump team and demand its return? It is hard to imagine the Trump Team telling the FBI to pound sand if such a demand was made. Yet, such a denial would readily support a showing of probable cause. Moreover, adding a lock to the door of a storage room would not be viewed as sufficient for material at the apex of classification levels.
———Did the warrant specifically identify the material or the classification level? If the warrant sought the recovery of any possible classified evidence, it would again raise what was stated in the affidavit and the reason why such material was not acquired in the June subpoena despite the reported cooperation of the Trump team.
-——There remains the role of the confidential informant and what the person shared with the DOJ. Was there evidence of active concealment of the material or merely a statement of additional documents being stored at the resort?
Not reading the article because i am pleased that democracy is dead. I want to live in a representative republic. Democracies are mob rule and end up very quickly being a horror show of a majority repressing a minority.
YOU COULD ALMOST HEAR THE JOKE WE HAVE AS A PRESIDENT BREATHE A SIGH OF RELIEF———showing us how “in command” sniffer joe is.

....Jill buying chp meat dressed in de la Renta
A done deal.......this was joes coupe d’etat to finally trounce Trump
——joes “rising poll numbers” are already lined up,
——Dems are “winning”
-——joes “endorsements” being sought
———his “accomplishments” being invented
-——gas prices down
——zero inflation
.......except.......
Nobody on the turnip truck believes any of it.
I assume this is Jonathan Turley?
Yes
When there is no law, then there is no law
The scorned lawyer is now vulnerable
I agree with Turley. IF Joe Biden were cognizant enough to realize what just happened, then he must realize that in the days after Trump is sworn in (again), he will clean out the Justice Department and FBI, have the Clinton, Obama, and Biden homes raided for documents, have Joe’s son frog marched to jail, have Pelosi’s residences raided, as well as Schumer et al, and do the same at the other intelligence agencies. The Democrats have set the table in their insanity, but the country might descend rapidly into chaos as a result of it.
Sounds good.
I sincerely doubt that Trump even knows what was in all those boxes.
I doubt, very seriously, that the republicans will pursue the kind of petty ‘gotcha’ legal persecution of the dims.
Hopefully, they’ll prosecute those, whose crimes warrant.
(but I kinda doubt it)
Guess the headline should read death of the Republic.
No matter how you word it,were screwed.
The problem is, that in the unlikely case that Trump gets into the WH again, he won’t do any of those things. One of the reasons the Dems have been so outrageous in their attacks on him is that they learned during his presidency that they could get away with it.
He rarely genuinely held them accountable; a lot of the current bad guys were even appointed by him; he never called Obama and the Dems on their obstructionism and attempt to subvert his Presidency (from the very beginning, even before he was inaugurated); he never called Nancy Pelosi on her in-your-face insubordination and attempts at a coup (remember Nancy´s self-appointed “diplomatic missions” where she overtly rejected the policies of both Trump and Pompeo and was attempting to get foreign leaders to negotiate with her?); he let Fauci kidnap the Oval Office and only at the very end did he even attempt to resist China-loving Fauci and Birx; he never dealt with Milley (who was and probably still is most certainly trying to organize a coup and who simply rejected the orders of his CNC and encouraged others to do likewise)…the list goes on.
For all their insane ranting about Trump as a “dictator,” the Dems found that he was actually quite easy to push around and even defy in a way we have never seen before. So I don’t think they have much to fear.
I think this is really all about consolidating their power and possibly not even having to bother with having one of this messy and expensive election charades. Also, it’s an attempt to eliminate anyone who is not a leftist from any elected or appointed political (Rep, Senator, judge, etc) or administrative position. Dark times ahead … and I don’t even know why they want to destroy what had been a relatively pleasant, functional country with a relatively happy, prosperous people - and replace it with the grim, fear-filled, bleak life of China.
I saw a “post-raid” interview with Victor David Hanson the other day in which he stated quite flatly that there was no longer rule-of-law in the US.
Victor David Hanson is a Classicist and knows a heck of a lot about a heck of a lot of societies throughout history…and I think he knows whereof he speaks.
I respectfully disagree. Perhaps I should have framed it as “if” he cleans house on week one, then he will have the ability to effect the changes that he would want to make. Your points are well taken and though out, but his biggest mistake was on the ‘enforcers’ that he appointed. The Democrats are much better than he at doing that as they generally have a mafia mindset. He doesn’t, but might have to develop one. They have certainly showed him the way.
Ping
I hope so. He certainly knows a lot more about what to expect this time and hopefully he has gotten a “no more Mr. Nice Guy” attitude.
We (conservatives) have had an accommodating attitude since day one…that is, refusing to recognize our enemies, and according them too much respect as being fundamentally honorable. They aren’t.
Leftism is simply a moral cancer that eats away at peoples’ sense of right and wrong. Power is all.
Did you listen? He’s not sure we will even have a 2024 election. And he’s not sure the republicans will take the house because FJB will sign something allowing illegals to vote.
