People taking steps to fend for themselves?!?! Can't have that!!! The EPA will land on them with environmental impact issues and all manner of other crap to make sure these people can't grow vegetables on their own property.

Tomatoes are pretty easy to grow...morning sun, shade at the hottest time of day.

How soon before the two-legged locusts are stripping gardens while the owners are at work or asleep?

My garden has been great this year. I am currently planning to dedicate a wall in my office to growing microgreens and other veggies year round. That will be in addition to my outdoor garden.

"Home gardens rise in popularity amid high inflation"
..because it makes common cents (and dollars)!

Invest in yourself with developing gardening skills,
and maintain a constant supply of seeds (both Hybrid and Heritage)

The classic Britcom Good Life might be worth watching for inspiration. A favorite of mine.

I’m not sure I save a mountain of money by raising a garden, but we certainly eat good at my house.

Clean food, origin not in doubt, reliance on others greatly reduced. All good things.
