America First Political Committee today announced that polling shows Republican KW Miller has a double-diget lead over RINO Carlos Gimenez in Florida's 28th Congressional District Primary Race. America First projects that KW Miller will handily win the Republican Primary on August 23.
RINO Gimenez otherwise known as a Socialist Democrat, has a long record of supporting radical socialist policy, dating back to his time as Miami-Dade Mayor.
As Miami-Dade Mayor, RINO Gimenez locked down and destroyed small businesses during Covid. Gimenez was also tainted with corruption and ethics accusations including unauthorized business dealings with Communist China.
In Washington, D.C., RINO Gimenez has voted with Nancy Pelosi and the radical leftists. Gimenez defended disgraced Liz Cheney after she voted in favor of the 'Sham Impeachment' against Donald Trump. Gimenez doubled down in defending Cheney after the Republican Caucus censored and removed Liz Cheney from Republican Party Leadership.
RINO Gimenez has openly voted with Nancy Pelosi and the radical Democrats in Congress on critical 'Unconstitutional Issues' far too many times and continues to support a socialist agenda:

MAGA on a huge roll, which explains why Trump’s door was kicked in.
Agree with that.
Away with him
Florida 28th covers southern tip of peninsula, mostly The Everglades, Keys and cities west and south of Miami.
Too bad no one in Florida challenged their Amnesty Senator.

“MAGA on a huge roll”
Wait just a minute there — Trump endorsed incumbent GIMENEZ in this race (according to Ballotpedia) and not his conservative challenger.
Not only is Gimenez a RINO who supports amnesty for illegal aliens and also supports gun-grabbing, he supported the J6 Kangaroo Kommittee even AFTER Trump endorsed him in 2020.
On a related note, some insist that Trump’s endorsements of guaranteed-to-win-anyway Republican House incumbents (115 of them so far in 2022) has nothing to do with “winning percentage”-padding but instead is a maneuver to inspire loyalty from those politicians who — when the chips are down — will surely recall how Trump supported them, and they will therefore support him in return.
In addition to Gimenez backstabbing Trump on the Kangaroo Kourt vote, there were 15 other GOP House members WHO TRUMP ENDORSED in 2020 who also Judas-ed him:
Johnson (SD)
Bice (OK)
Moore (UT)
Guest (MS)
Bentz (OR)
Simpson (ID)
Fortenberry (NE)
Newhouse (WA)
Bacon (NE)
Miller-Meeks (IA)
Jacobs (NY)
Gonzales (TX)
Joyce (OH)
Salazar (FL)
Curtis (UT)
Fortenberry was ousted for some alleged technical violation that Democrats probably get away with all the time, Jacobs ran away because some nutzoid leftist killed some people in Buffalo, and the others so far have safely won their primaries in 2022 despite their apostasy. So they paid no price at all for their disloyalty.
There were 19 other Republicans who voted to persecute Trump, but at least he was smart enough not to have endorsed them previously.
Wonderful news!
Yep!
They were shocked at the Primary in AZ.
There were house cleaning all the way to City Council level.
11 replies. Will we win? What does redistricting do for us?
If you’re referring to “will we win” this district, Cook had it as D+1 in 2020 and R+2 after redistricting.
So this isn’t some district, however marginal it still may be, where conservatives must settle for some guy who makes Mitt Romney look like Jesse Helms — just because he’s “electable”. We can do much better than this backstabbing leftist ass.
“CG wins this race”
This crappy poll notwithstanding, you’re very likely right. Gimenez has over $1,000,000 to campaign with, his opponents (including his Democrat opponent in November) have none at all, and as far as the primary goes there are two candidates all set to split the conservative vote.
As to the Democrats conceding and putting up some unfunded nobody as a challenger — why not? Why should Democrats seriously contest a district in which the incumbent Republican votes more with the Democrats than he does with his own party, especially on key issues? Democrat money, not that there’s seemingly any limit to it, is better spent elsewhere.
Good post.
