Attorney General Merrick Garland revealed Thursday that he “personally approved” requesting the search warrant that triggered Monday’s unprecedented raid on the Florida home of former President Donald Trump and revealed the Justice Department had asked a federal magistrate judge to unseal copies of the warrant — if Trump and his legal team do not object.
“The Department filed the motion to make public the warrant and receipt in light of the former president’s public confirmation with the search, the surrounding circumstances, and the substantial public interest in this matter,” Garland told reporters.
“Faithful adherence to the rule of law is the bedrock principle of the Justice Department and of our democracy, upholding the rule of law means applying the law evenly without fear or favor. under my watch, that is precisely what the Justice Department is doing,” he continued.
Garland, who spoke for four minutes and took no questions, confirmed that copies of the search warrant and FBI property receipt were given to Trump’s attorneys on Monday and added that they were “on site during the search.”
The Attorney General also addressed the recent “unfounded attacks” towards the FBI and Department of Justice in the aftermath of the search, saying he “will not stand by silently when their integrity is unfairly attacked.”
“The men and women of the FBI and the Justice Department are dedicated, patriotic public servants. Every day they protect the American people from violent crime, terrorism and other threats to their safety while safeguarding our civil rights. They do so at great personal sacrifice and risk to themselves. I am honored to work alongside them.”

That’s my point
Ok, so the judge tells the Department of Injustice to unseal it and the Department of Injustice tells the court to unseal it.
Wonder how long they will have to point fingers at each other before people forget about it?
He would have made a great SCJ../s
Now they have to write up the warrant, which they didn’t have when they conducted the raid.
It wasn’t a complete waste. If Wray’s Raiders had found something we’d have heard about today, right? They got bubkis.
Then they’ll just tap my electronic devices and plant evidence of federal crimes in my residence.
Sadly, and with little dignity, the Political Attorney General is in the same bucket as the Fake, POTUS, Democrat, Butt Wipe, Joe Biden...”USELESS”!!! He actually told us very little and said nothing!!! I believe they “The Democrats” thought this fiasco would go down well with the American people in their favor. It has not....gone well at all!!! Trump, my fellow Americans, is getting stronger, not weaker!!! End of story....”Case Closed”!!!
Go Trump Go!!!
What was probably going on was that the on-scene FBI guys didn’t want Trump’s attorney to see the “basis” of the warrant, which would have been in the attached affidavit. And what Garland said they’re willing to release now still won’t be the basis of the warrant. It’ll just be the warrant itself, stating the address, what they were looking for, etc..
“Faithful adherence to the rule of law is the bedrock principle of the Justice Department and of our democracy, upholding the rule of law means applying the law evenly without fear or favor. under my watch, that is precisely what the Justice Department is doing,” he continued.
Did he say that with a straight face?
Considering the FBI was already caught red handed fabricating and falsifying evidence, lying, and colluding with both Hillary’s campaign and foreign agents to frame Trump, how can they possibly be trusted to investigate and prosecute him?
That’s a rhetorical question. The answer is obvious.
They could give a recipe for homemade potato soup.
Doesn’t matter ..cause it will be blacked out.
A couple interesting notes from Trump attorney Christina Bobb's interview with Dinesh D'Souza:
1 - Bobb said the FBI indeed gave her a copy of the warrant, along with an attachment describing what they were looking for: "presidential records or any possibly classified material." pic.twitter.com/NCTcH6ZBxd— Tom Dreisbach (@TomDreisbach) August 9, 2022
So use of the federal law enforcement apparatus for political purposes is fine and dandy now. Is that what we’re hearing? Why did Nixon resign, anyway?
Trump’s attorney was not allowed to see the warrant or observe the search. So who knows what was in it or what they planted.
You are wrong, but it isn’t really your fault. A bunch of half-assed conservative bloggers falsely reported that the judge had ordered the warrant released. In fact, all he’d ordered was for the government to file a written response to a motion by third parties to see the warrant.
THANK YOU!!!
Check post 33, they were given a copy of the warrant.
Biden is taking bribes from China committing treason, a death penalty offense, and Trump gets raided because he didn’t return a library book
