An entirely new type of flu vaccine could better protect people from influenza, and clinical trials of the vaccines are starting this month.
The new flu vaccines are based on mRNA technology, the same method that was used to create the most common and successful U.S. COVID-19 vaccines, those made by Pfizer and Moderna.
These vaccines use messenger RNA (or mRNA) to “teach” cells to make proteins. These proteins don’t cause illness, but are the same type that we’d get during a COVID-19 or flu infection. The vaccines then train the immune system to prevent actual infections.
The first group of participants in Colorado — 50 people ages 65 to 85 — could start receiving mRNA flu vaccines as early as mid-August. That’s when Dr. Myron Levin, an expert on infectious diseases and vaccines, expects to enroll older adults for the first round of testing at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Patients at the UCHealth Seniors Clinic will be able to volunteer for the study, as will other older adults.
The Colorado site is one of about 25 across the country where Pfizer will be conducting early tests on a new mRNA flu vaccine.
In the coming weeks, Levin also expects to enroll volunteers for another clinical trial realted to mRNA flu vaccines. Moderna has created a new vaccine that aims to provide combined protection against both flu and COVID-19, including the most recent variants of COVID-19.

I’ve always avoided the flu shot.
I certainly never got the COVID jab.
I had been interested in the Shingles vaccine, but I know a guy who got “the Shingles vaccine” and received a letter a week letter with an apology from the pharmacy which explained how they accidentally gave him the COVID jab instead.
No shots for me, thanks. I don’t trust these mofo’s.

Had to get the COVID “vaccine” for work, and so far no known adverse effects (thank God), but I do work with someone who has. Not taking another experimental “vaccine”.
Ooh, “successful” mRNA vaccines. Where the ‘Ell have those been ‘cause all I’ve seen for last two years were the fake crappola called a “vaccine” ‘cause the corrupt CDC re-defined the word to exclude immunity.?
If this truly provides immunity, like you can’t get reinfected and can’t generate new variants and can’t infect others, hurrah.
But, I bet it is all a lie. Just like the WuhanFlu crappola.

a few years back, i had a mild case of shingles that cleared up with quick treatment, but all my docs swore i should get the vax anyway ... this was well before covid and before i lost all confidence in the medical community’s dogmatic propaganda, and so following their adivce, i took the first dose, which made me very ill and triggered asthma ... needless to say i didn’t take the 2nd dose ... no more vaxes for me ever again ...
Can’t remember the last time I had a Flu shot.
And with this soon to be introduction of an mRNA version, won’t ever be getting one. Bet.
I will NEVER trust a vaccine that comes from this government, the medical lackeys it supports or the ghouls who make it and hide all the trial data and the FDA that allows it. NEVER. They are death merchants.

FDA has not cleared the existing “vaccines”, they are still under emergency use. I doubt they will ever be cleared, too many adverse effects and adverse incidents. This is a subterfuge. Do not take any “vaccines: the alter your DNA forever. I spent my whole career in the medical field.

I haven’t gotten any vaxxes for shingles, etc at all-and no flu shots for about 27 years. I keep my immune system strong, eat paleo diet with organic, unprocessed food-no sugar, no sodas, etc-work out, have a physical job and keep a strong immune system with supplements-and no drugs. I had the Wuhan virus in 2020, mild case-got rid of it in 3-5 days with natural remedies and common sense-been fine since. Two of my co-workers got vaxxed at the insistence of their families-both guys have had the Wuhan anyway-and one had it twice-clearly this “vaccine” is not performing as advertised...
They’ve got an awful lot of leftover COVID vaccine. All they have to do is re-label it.
