Eyewitnesses reported as many as 15 distinct explosions in Novofedorivka, Crimea, followed by a larger blast The explosions rocked a Russian held military airbase home to a variety of fighter jets and freight aircraft

Airbase is located 130 miles from nearest Ukrainian-held region and Ukraine has not accepted responsibility But a senior military source told the New York Times the explosions came as a result of a Ukrainian strike Russian defence ministry meanwhile is claiming the explosions came as a result of ammunition detonation Russian officials reported one person was killed and five people including one child were injured in the blasts

The deadly blasts rocked a military airbase in the region on Tuesday afternoon, causing an ominous mushroom cloud to soar into the sky, sending sunbathers running from nearby beaches.

As many as 15 distinct explosions were reported by eyewitnesses, according to various sources, over the course of a minute around 3:30pm local time.

Yet another blast was triggered around 30 minutes later, causing large plumes of thick black smoke to snake from the direction of the base in Novofedorivka, Western Crimea, which is located around 130 miles from the nearest Ukraine-controlled territory.

Russia's Defense Ministry denied the Saki base on the Black Sea had been shelled and said instead that munitions had blown up there.

Furthermore, Margarita Simonyan, the editor-in-chief of the Russian RT news channel, tweeted that the explosions were caused by 'sabotage'.

Nevertheless, Ukrainian social networks have been abuzz with speculation that it was hit by Ukrainian-fired long-range missiles.

One Ukrainian military official speaking on condition of anonymity told the New York Times that the nation's armed forces launched the attack.

"Dozens of warplanes will no longer be able to drop bombs and missiles on us"

That's what matters.

In regards to accusations from Russian loyalists about "globalists," notable free traitors have long advocated against needed defense measures to keep foreign communist expansionism at bay and have even said that there will be no more wars. They only care about the revenues that they receive today from foreign communist slave labor.

It's interesting that the communist members of SDS (Students for a Democratic Society) also generally advocated against U.S. defense measures.

Washington, DC is all the things you accuse Ukraine of being. Do Americans deserve a brutal invasion because of it? Ukrainians are a great people. Only a Moscow stooge would look the other way while they are bullied and brutalizrd.

Why aren’t you as interested in the situation in our country ? You guys have such skewed priorities. You want us to wage war on a nuclear country over a corrupt globalist puppet state BY a corrupt globalist puppet state in DC.

Ukrainians need to overthrow their own corrupt state first and hang their traitors. Zelensky is the one with blood on his hands, and is more interested in doing photo shoots with Vanity Fair and pushing for the dirty sodomite agenda in the middle of a war. What a joke.

Good job covering this *dennisw.

Implications of this one could be significant.

Been tracking this throughout the day.

Highly successful attack.

My first choice was a high altitude strike. Second choice was highly successful ground OP.

My response to NYPrepper

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Key Takeaways —

Those were large ordinance blasts for sure.

Judging from the initial high upward but relatively narrow shape of the “blast shafts”, this was a high angle attack (vertical attack), with *Probable* deep penetrators/bunker busters used on runways, ammo/ordinance storage, or aircraft bunkers, AND very hot burn as well. (Unless Putin did it to provide justification for a larger attack in Ukraine or the West, (similar to what Putin did in 1999, 2000, 2002 in Grozney, Yerevan, Moscow to gain untouchable KGB/FSB political status).

Very impressive —

As well, Novofedorovka (Saki Air Base) is 48 miles by car, and less than 28 miles (North) by air, of Sevastopol Bay/Russian Black Sea Fleet, which supplies nearly all Russian operations in the Eastern Mediterranean, Black Sea, and Gulf of Aden Region.

Also keep in mind, UA was near full testing phase of the GRIM missile project by the end of 2019, albeit development greatly slowed down by Obama before Trump.

It was widely believed by my team at NGIC that GRIM could carry a warhead between 1200 to 1500 lbs to a distance of between 250 to 300 miles.

If UA now has this missile, or just tested it, this warhead could have made explosions approximate to what we just saw.

As well, the GRIM has 3 separate guidance systems, each capable of a strike to within 2-3 meters, but acting in tandem.

Also notice unlike Russian doctrine of civilian strikes, the UA strike was against critocal military targets used by Russia often attacking civilian UA targets.

But speculation on my part.

*******

Regarding the EU/NATO ISR Recon flight -

In 1993/1994 one of Clinton’s horrific kickbacks to foreign totalitarian regimes for helping Clinton/Gore get elected (broader lay of ChinaGate $35-45 million dollars to campaign primarily from Chjna, but alsoamaged by Moscow), involved the US capitulating to the leftist UN Territorial Waters agreement, which redrew and categorized territorial waters to 12 Nautical Miles from general coastlines.

The original draft of this leftist UN project back in 1970’s, ironically involved architects and pressure from the CCCP (Union of Soviet Socualist Republics).

While information has been suppressed by most main stream American media, this has allowed modern RusFed/CIS and CCP, and Iranian navies, (particularly the Russian nuclear powered and armed battlecruiser ‘Peter the Great’ hybrid battle group, (generally based off of Venezuelan Island La Orchila, and generally consisting of 9-11 RusFed nuclear armed subs within 1500nm of PG), to at times loiter as close as the 12nm US territorial Eastern and Western coastlines, and globally. This has included/includes New York. (Think RUS Navy underwater between Long Island and Connecticut, Boston, Chesapeake/Norfolk. Jacksonville, Pensacola, Houston, etc)

In this case, EU/NATO has “flipped the script”, and flown ISR recon to the North Sea’s Russian Federation international boundary, apparently to the 12nm territorial limit of Russia’s Severny Island.

And this after what was actually the seventh time Moscow has denied access to WMD inspectors, which it had agreed to by three separate treaties. However, these ja e always been a leftard joke.

As well, this has been the site of numerous, unpublished, complicit Western media blacked out, treaty breaking tests conducted by RusFed since the 1980’s, late 1990’s, and mid 2000’s, albeit at the tactical nuclear level.

No one wants to know or believe this stuff for sure.

While there are many, Severny Island also has large nuclear and chemical UFAC repositories similar to what they built in Syria to house mostly exfilled Iraqi CW’s. RUS Navy and Air Force can load and depart from Severny and travel all over the world.

In this case however, the question may be why from Severny Island, as they have WMD stockpiles all over the Russian Federation and subordinate CIS, including in Sevastopol/Crimea, and in Syria, and a few near coastal Egypt, Libya, and Eritrea.

Craziness!

Good job following and reporting/informing on Crimea! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Chechens...

Both motivated to tweak the nose of the Russian Bear, and settle a few old scores the Russians had inflicted upon Chechnya.

But the Ukrainians should never, ever, consider the Chechens as “allies”.

The important thing about this is the fact that the Ukrainians were able to get deep into Russian held territory and inflict significant damage.

If by air, they have a deep strike capability they did not previously show.

If by land, then they have some sort of partisan or special forces operating in the Crimea which Russia has considered safely under it’s control. Even if they get caught and defeated, (a strong possibility with Crimea’s limited size) the fact the Ukrainians could do it, means they might be able to do it again.

Either way, the Russians have more to worry about in what was a relatively safe zone.

Putin does not actually control the territories he claims. Infiltration has produced massively damaging fires have occurred even in Moscow and especially the gas fields.

The price for this assault on his rear must be using troops needed on the front to protect Mother Russia. Putin lacks the troops to protect the homeland. The selected destruction will continue

Thanks and Crimea isn’t even Russian, look how deep into Ukraine it lies. It is as Russian as Sebastopol, California. After WW2, rat bastard Stalin deported tens of thousands of Tatars, Geeks and others out of Crimea and moved in Russians. Now rat bastard Putin tries to do the same in Ukraine. Though so far Vlad is failing, because he could not knock out Kiev and Zelensky.

Vlad would love to deport all Ukrainian farmers off their lands. To move in huge Russian owned, Russian style “corporate farms” of 10,000 acres. The flat land of Ukraine is ideal for this, plus the mega-huge tractors and farm equipment to pull it off. The same way we do it in Iowa and the Midwest.

The distance from Crimea to Odessa is 194 miles. Putin wants historic Odessa, the Queen port city of Ukraine. To invade Odessa by sea, but Ukrainian missiles have made the pathetic Rus navy retreat far into the Black Sea, to be out of Ukrainian missile range.

When Putin dies and soon! Chechnya will be the first to break away from the vodka soaked idiots in Moscow. Putin has a powerful glue that is able to hold Russia together. Whoever comes after Putin, will not have the juice to keep breakaway republics in line.

Ramzan Kadyrov and his Muzzies are champing at the bit. Plus they have higher birthrates than Russians.
