With 18% in, Leora Levy is leading Themis Klarides 51/37
So much for the "wise" consultants.

"Topple", topple, topple.
When Trump's pick wins, Big Media likes to call it a topple.

Allowing voters to make such a decision is surely “a threat to our democracy”.

My wife is assistant moderator in Newtown, CT and she just got home from the polls. Levy solidly won the precinct she worked in.
Levy was not even in the picture until the Trump endorsement just a week ago.
So good news!

A centrist who is pro-choice and voted for some gun control measures in the legislature, [ . . . ] But while Klarides supported and campaigned with Trump in 2016, she admits that she did not vote for him in 2020
Almost a textbook RINO.

CT primary results: Levy declares victory in GOP Senate race 10:44 p.m.
Declared victory: Leora R. Levy has declared victory as the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate. NBC News had called the race in Levy's favor although it was not yet called by the Associated Press.
Levy would face incumbent Democratic Sen. Richard Blumenthal in November. Levy won the race with the lion’s share of votes, pulling in about 50 percent in the three-person field. Runner-up Themis Klarides had about 40 percent of the vote shortly after 10:30 p.m. and had been the party’s choice for the seat. But Levy got a late campaign boost last week when former President Donald Trump called into a statewide Republican event to endorse.
