Why would any maker of a product want to pay tons of cash to a studio to place their product in a movie where no one in the audience is a buyer?
Or, if the actors/ script is openly hostile to the company or product?

Not to mention ads for stuff that is just gross. Has anyone seen the Venus ad for pubic hair? How about the toilet paper ad with women being proud to poop?
Who writes these ads? My wife and I are put off by both of them and will never buy their product.
I started and immediately stopped watching Bridgerton because it was so historically inaccurate that they should have just put flying carpets in it to make it more believable.

Yep...we have even given up on Hallmark for their new wokeness and guys kissing. We don’t want to see it and don’t want to help Hallmark make money by watching it.
I’ve owned 2 Acuras...and the new ads for their new Integra is using & marketing to black gangsta thugs. So disgusting, I turn the channel.
I immediately eliminated Acura in my current search for a new car.

State Farm was certainly the first commercial to be so blatant in their anti-white messaging.
There’s no doubt the leftwing racists creating these ads are trying to re-market/re-brand the violent savage feral animal cult as normal whites.

It(sports/"entertainment")have been replaced by YouTube instructional/documentaries/classic shows....(until sh tlibs -F- that up)

There is a whole genre of Christian themed movies with great scripts and inspiring content. Even though they lack the special effects and the quality can sometimes appear amateurish, the content is far better.
Then there are the six seasons of Leave it to Beaver which recall our growing up years and still teach valuable life lessons in a humorous way.
And this is just a start.
We were watching the baseball game with our kids (MLB streaming) ... when that gross Venus ad aired.
We turned the game off, and, listened to it on the radio.
I don't believe this. If anything, Discovery will make Warner even more woke. The shows that run on the Discovery channels are full of woke content. If you watch HGTV, for example, they give the impression that at least 25% of home buyers and renovators are gay. OWN, the Oprah Winfrey Network is a Discovery Channel. Lots of woke commercials run incessantly on their channels. My wife likes to watch Beat Bobby Flay on the Food Network (another Discovery channel). On every episode, Bobby invites two friends who pick chefs to try to out-cook Bobby Flay (hence the title). Bobby's invited friends are either fellow Food Network chefs or leftist celebs, athletes, from Donnie Deutsch to Don Lemon to Seth Meyers. Not once have they had a celeb who is right of center.
Just to name a few, we have "Yellowstone", "Better Call Saul", "Ozark"...all of which would terrify your average soy boy.
You describe the way I buy things. I especially cannot understand why any conservative or Jew buys Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, yet they do and if you ask why, they spew out the silliest pretzel logic imaginable. Just like you said, there are many options available to us, Ben & Jerry survives only because of the lack of conviction for doing the right thing.

That one was just too much. Black Jake is a terrible actor too, not only did they mess up a character, State Farm had to have looked high and low to find such an unacceptable piss poor talent.
I haven't read that, but I did read Hollywood Party: How Communism Seduced the American Film Industry in the 1930s and 1940s by Lloyd Billingsly. The thing that gets me is that whenever you read a reference or see a documentary that talks about the Blacklist, they always use wording like "blacklisted for alleged communist ties". For most people, the Blacklist was about hounding innocent people based on rumor. The blacklisted people were in fact, commies. Whether or not there should have been a blacklist is open to debate, but people should at least be honest about the fact that the blacklisted commies were loyal to a communist party that was in turn loyal to the USSR.
