Gov. Ron DeSantis announced the suspension of a state attorney on Thursday morning in news his team teased the night before.
DeSantis announced that Florida state attorney Andrew Warren would be suspended, effective immediately, for failing to enforce the state's laws dealing with crime and regulating abortion .
"Our government is a government of laws, not a government of men," DeSantis said. "We've seen across the country over the last few years individual prosecutors take it upon themselves to determine which laws they like and will enforce, and which laws they don't like and don't enforce."

Anecdote: I was talking to a woman on the tram in Chattanooga. She was a Georgia fan, I’m an Auburn fan. Talked some about Georgia football, I said it is good that no teams dominate the championship.
Then we started talking politics. At first I was reluctant to talk about going to Trump rallies. Then she figured out what I was talking about when I said I was going to political rallies.
She said she and her husband love Trump. But then she said she wanted DeSantis as president. I agreed. We both wanted four more years of Trump then eight years of DeSantis.
So there you get different people from other states wanting a President DeSantis.
