Democrats are leading in the tight midterm race with a 4% edge over the GOP on the generic congressional ballot, as voters rank abortion as a leading issue over inflation.
A new Suffolk University/USA Today poll shook up the midterms, after 44% of voters said that if the election were held today they would vote for a Democrat candidate, while 40% said they would vote for a Republican. About 16% still remain undecided.
Republicans have taken a hit over the past month, after a June poll from the university found Democrats and Republicans were evenly split on the generic congressional ballot with both parties receiving 40% of the vote.

This is The Narrative they will use to cover the election-rigging this fall.
I call bullshit. No way that's true.
Cover for the fake tabulation.
What rational decent person is going to take an unsolicited call and then discuss their political opinions with a stranger? Why would you want your political opinions to be part of a permanent data base available to vile people? Suspect many simply don’t talk to these pollsters. It is one of many reasons that they have been so inaccurate.
BS
USA today= Gannett.
Gannett= Bullsh*t.
Disregard.

Sure hope they get cotwr fraud under control this time.
Looks like MO and WI have taken big steps. I’m sure about other states though.
I would just lie to them anyway.
Fox news is full of lying demons... they know they are demons and they know we know they are demons.
Does anyone believe FOX NEWS anymore??
WTH has happened to them and why would their money makers, Carlson, Gutfeld, Hannity still be working there>
That poll is pure bullcrap.
If it is the one I’m thinking of, there are 32 percent who say that J6 hasn’t changed their minds at all.
Which means nothing the illegal committee reported affects them.
And what has happened to the New York Post.
OH, slap my forehead, that’s right Murdoch owns IT also.
This reflects the low moral values of dimmocommies. They are scum.
LOL. Whistling past the graveyard. When some working person is filling up his or her car, abortion isn't on their mind at that moment. Anyway, the headline does not say which way abortion is important to the voters. It is just as probable that abortion is important to be prevented.
It’s not an inconvenience thing it’s an irrationality thing. The white suburban women who are the only thing keeping D’s from a complete collapse are wealthy enough that inflation doesn’t affect them, so they vote on emotional issues that also don’t really affect them. They’re older and not getting pregnant as much let alone accidentally pregnant, but they view the right to murder babies as giving them parity with men. It’s insane.
every poll ive seen since the decision ..it was like 7 or 8 in importance..right there with climate garbage...most people wont even talk about abortion...
POLL FRAUD
BS. People vote their wallets.
Karl Rove poll.
Could be truth to this, and this is where we lose the independents, and libertarians. Conservatives should focus their antiabortion funds mainly on helping women decide to keep instead of going around banning. Let the libs abort themselves. With this strategy we will pick up about 4%age points in every election here on out.
