Is this a DIFFERENT couple people than last week’s story of the 2 little black girls at the parade? They seemed to have a mother and another woman, not a father.

This is just legal extortion. They hope for a nice payout to drop the case so the publicity goes away. Chances of proving their case and winning in court are slim - but the legal cost and the marketing image hit are higher than paying these parasites off. Shakespeare had it right!!!
