No telling where the home base of your internet company is. Or maybe they have an agreement with one of the big companies like Comcast, AT&T, etc. and get their service through them. I guess they all have “relay” stations across the country and if one goes out, internet is out in the area that station services. I just base that guess on what I see when our Comcast service goes out and can see that certain areas are affected while others aren’t. Could be Denver is one of those “relay” stations for your internet service up there. I hope the problem doesn’t turn out to be long-term. Y’all need it working to do your jobs.

If it’s like here, it probably doesn’t cool off all that much overnight to begin with so even early morning is pretty warm for mowing. At least it’s behind you ..... til next week. LOL

Our temps haven’t been triple digits but the heat index has been. The air’s so thick with humidity, you can almost cut it with a knife. But we can’t get any rain. Just thick, stifling air. I stayed in today and will tomorrow too. They SAY our temps will only be in the 80s Friday and Saturday so it won’t be too unbearable when I head out for the museum. IF they’re right, that is.

Autumn is going to be VERY welcome for a lot of us this year.

Dang. It sounds like it’s creeping back up there. It’s holding steady here but is SUPPOSED to back off to upper 80s this weekend. They haven’t gotten our rain forecast right so far this week so who knows if they’ll be right about the temps?

I stayed in today except for a minute to haul out a bag of litter box scoopings and that was enough. I do need to go out to water the potted plants tonight now that I think about it. They’d appreciate it.

Yeah, our potted plants are looking rather bedragled, or at least some of them are. I do have a potted Mexican petunia that is thriving. I had hubby take it from the flower bed and plant it in a pot so I could see it. The flower bed is now behind his little greenhouse. Not great planning. LOL!

Were you able to stand being out there to get it done? I can’t believe you haven’t gotten ANY of the rain that you were supposed to have!

The flowerbed is behind the greenhouse? That’s no fun when you can’t see the pretties.

I haven’t gone out to water yet but will shortly. It’s still steamy outside but it’s cool enough to be bearable. Just two more cats to comb and I’ll go.

They keep showing their “ExacTrack” each evening showing where and when people can expect rain and they keep showing our area getting some. There hasn’t been rain anywhere close to us this week. :-(

Well, dang it, they need to move the track so it WILL come to your house. It’s time. Time for us, too. We’re still waaaaay behind for the year and our yearly average is only about 13 inches. LOL! Every drop counts.
