No smoking gun doesn’t mean the DEMs (along with some RINOs) won’t find something to charge Trump on. Maybe disqualify him from ever being able to run for POTUS again (no constitutional backing for this, but when has that mattered to the DEMs?).

The Atlanta grand jury is a real threat. As the saying goes a DA can get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich. Of course a jury trial is another matter, but when the goal is to make headlines then a grand jury indictment is a slam dunk.
