Democrats revealed American gun manufacturers earned more than $1 billion from the sale of AR-15-style semiautomatic weapons over the last decade, as lawmakers grilled gun makers after a recent series of mass shootings led to multiple deaths in Uvalde, Texas; Buffalo, New York; and Highland Park, Ill.
Marty Daniel, chief executive officer of Daniel Defense - which made the gun used by the shooter to kill 19 school children and two teachers in Uvalde, Texas - defended his company's practices as he was questioned by Democratic Rep. Carolyn Maloney.

But this domino-effect approach to “justice” is common for commies.
They love to blame the US government for 9/11. Im not even talking about the conspiracy nonsense. Anyone who could have led to it happening must be “held to account”.
By this logic, GM should’ve been blamed for all the people killed by their vehicles.
So open all the other gates - hold all automobile manufacturers responsible for car accidents, all alcohol companies for DUIs and alcoholism rehab, video game cos for violence, lethargy in kids.
Why stop with guns and personal responsibility? Sue everybody.

The shotgun is an interesting choice.
That said, I can’t think of a more devastating choice in the hands of amateur soldiers in close combat.

I don’t know that the Pentagon has done an in-depth analysis of infantry combat in Ukraine. Those kinds of treatments can take up to a decade to pull together after the fighting stops. I’d think this is more a question of 1) a menu of approved ‘defensive’ weapons and 2) here’s what the Pentagon would like to ‘get rid of’.

But the Irgun did really nasty things to the Arabs and British with shotguns, often using homemade black powder and shells.
It’s a heck of a weapon for close quarters urban guerilla combat (e.g., Jerusalem).
