The Chinese military will not sit back if U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi visits Taiwan, a Chinese defense spokesperson warned on Tuesday.
Tan Kefei, a spokesperson for China's Ministry of National Defense, made the remarks in response to a press inquiry regarding the issue.
China demands that the United States honor its promise that it would not support "Taiwan independence," Tan said, adding that if the U.S. side insists on making the visit, the Chinese military will take strong actions to thwart any external interference or "Taiwan independence" separatist scheme, and will be resolute in safeguarding China's national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The Chinese side has repeatedly made clear to the United States its firm opposition to Pelosi's potential visit to Taiwan, Tan noted.

Apparently the Chinese Communists have something planned to save face if Pelosi visits. They have made too much noise. However the chances that they launch an actual invasion of Taiwan is nil.

They’re making their claim very clear. Way more than Putin ever made for Ukraine. This visit to Taiwan is a crossing of the rubicon. Biden had better be ready to defend our claim or China will pack our backsides over it.

If Biden wants to start WW4, it will result in no mid-term election and the suspension of the constitution under martial law.

I was thinking the same thing - in about 3 months she will be irrelevant.
2 points to ponder:
(1) The CCP understands the Constitution and the separation of powers better than Pelosi.
(2) The CCP is actively intimidating Pelosi with that knowledge; she is not a bona fide diplomat.
