In Sri Lanka, a ban on chemical fertilizers devastated agriculture and was one cause of the government overthrow.

Trudeau: My plan for carbon reduction is to starve people to death.

The WEF acolytes couldn’t kill enough of the population with their clot shot mandates, so now they’re going to starve their populations to death. This might not work out as well for them personally as they think it will.

And if you go out in the streets his gestapo will hit you, beat you, arrest you, and throw you in prison. It will confiscate your vehicles. It will freeze your bank accounts.

Forgotten what he did?

Biden would be doing this, if the people handling him thought he could get away with it.

I was just about to post the same story from a different source; https://thecountersignal.com/trudeau-moves-forward-with-fertilizer-reduction-climate-policy/

Same as Netherlands. 30% below 2020 reduction in nitrous oxide emissions.

That will probably mean a 20-25% reduction in major crop returns like canola and wheat. Wild guess, 10% of farmers go out of business?

As an upper midwest american farmer, I would be salivating at the increases in wheat and corn prices as my neighbors under castors sun would cut their productivity by 15-30%. It has to be a real economics hard on to be in industry where the competition purposely destroys it own world class productivity.

The same politican is going to ask why a load of bread costs so much next year. Politicians surely strive to be bigger than forces of nature, and the impact is on farmers, mostly making them richer for the past 4 decades.

It’s what happened to Sri Lanka and the Netherlands. It’s becoming hard to believe that it’s not a coordinated effort. Who is driving the destruction of our world? The WEF? Soros? Why isn’t there more discussion about it?

I wonder how much greenhouse gas would be emitted by tarring and feathering the government?

See how this works - note well that the premise of the argument is seemingly accepted to begin with. Classic. They are fooked, and just rearranging chairs on the Titanic. You can see this kind of tactic used over and over and over.

The money quote here “farm producer groups here say reducing nitrous oxide emissions can’t be done without reducing fertilizer use.” And they are probably correct. Of course they are correct. That’s the entire point.

Once you’ve accepted their bull&$it premise in the first place aka global warming, you’ve already lost the argument, it’s just a matter of time.

There will always be an excess of fertilizer as long as there are so many damned politicians.

Folks,

The reality is that most farmers have maintained fertilizer rates at high and very high levels of fertility focusing on maximum yields as the management goal. There is a reserve in the soil. Max yields and max profit maybe have correlation but not necessarily. Cash flow also may have or have not a relationship to profit.

The point being is that yields might retain them selves for a few years, with slow decline and Trudee could look like a prophet in the short term.

Trudeau wins either way if the farmers go on strike or reduce their food production , if the people complain Trudeau will order farmers to grow more , Trudeau and the WEF are insane
