As an upper midwest american farmer, I would be salivating at the increases in wheat and corn prices as my neighbors under castors sun would cut their productivity by 15-30%. It has to be a real economics hard on to be in industry where the competition purposely destroys it own world class productivity.

The same politican is going to ask why a load of bread costs so much next year. Politicians surely strive to be bigger than forces of nature, and the impact is on farmers, mostly making them richer for the past 4 decades.

Some of the people I know are going to be going bonkers, not having prepared for increases, and will be blaming it on the corporate profit seekers, those that they are sure are making insane profits and doing it just to spite us.
