Putin equates green energy support with pro-LGBTQ+ policies
Yahoo ^ | 7/19/2022

"Non-traditional" is the way LGBTQ+ relationships are described by many in Russia, including in Russian legislation.

"They are great experts in the field of "non-traditional" relations, so they also decided to rely on "non-traditional" forms of energy," Putin told reporters during a trip to Tehran, saying European countries had neglected "traditional" energy forms. "It turned out to be a long winter; there was no wind - that's it."

Supported by the ultra-conservative Russian Orthodox Church, Russian President Vladimir Putin has passed multiple laws over the last decade to restrict LGBTQ+ rights and assert what he calls "traditional values".

Russian lawmakers last week proposed to extend the country's "gay propaganda" law - which bans the portrayal of "non-traditional" relationships to children - to cover adults as well.

Actually, there often is a link, especially when you talk about Greens who use radical or violent methods to disrupt.
You may see the same people, group to group.
Just as with Antifa. If not actively involved, they are strident advocates of such protest methods.

I don’t mind clean energy, as long as they go about it right
with things that make sense.

The wind turbine sounded like a good thing up front. I don’t
think that panned out. The large solar farm idea was also
bust > IMO.

Solar only makes sense if you set up your own system. The
large complex just doesn’t cut it when you have take care
of distribution, and off sunlit hours.

Nuclear is a good option. It’s a lot cleaner than other
things we’ve seen go flop.

Couple it with desalinization and we’re talking clean
energy that makes sense.

Hopefully graphene will cut down on grid waste over time.

They’re all the same people in both “groups”.

It’s a single “progressive group”.

Russia funded green propaganda:

Greenies shuttered oil, gas and nuclear. Now who’s laughing? (Don’t blame Trump supporters)

I still have great faith in the future of solar. But it’s going to be LONG in the future before it’s really ready for Prime Time.

Tucker Carlson had a funny piece tonight about electric cars: someone asks the GM spokesgirl ‘what’s charging the batteries right now?” She says, ‘It’s coming from the building’:

Yeah, well that’s an issue. I charge up at the local
Electrify American station, but I’m sure there’s a not too
nice explanation for where they get that electricity from
too.

I have my own solar cells, and in the next few days, I’m
going to be working out how to charge my vehicle using them.

That’s part of the reason why I say solar is best utilized
today if we have our own grid.

I have power units I used in my home. I charge them up
using my solar panels, and I hope to have solar set up so
I can use it for between 90 and 100% of my travels also.
