Cox received over $2 million in Democrat money because they think he is easier to beat because of Trump support.

Erosion of Trump support looks to be the meme for the left in the near future. I'm always trying to judge if Trumpers are starting to get tired of the constant abuse.

Some have estimated that Trump had 3 million on Jan 6. It would be interesting to have a Trump rally somewhere. even DC, to see if he could attract even a million. I'm retired, but even retired I would hesitate to spend $5 a gallon for a few hundred mile trip to stand in the heat for a day.

Wes Moore is leading. An estimated 35 percent of votes have been counted.

Votes received and percentages of total vote
Candidate Votes Pct.
Moore 97,556 37.7%
Perez 67,117 25.9
Franchot 53,171 20.6

Westley Watende Omari Moore (born October 15, 1978) is an American author, entrepreneur, television producer, and United States Army veteran. From 2017 to 2021 Moore served as the CEO of the Robin Hood Foundation. On June 7, 2021, Moore launched his campaign to become the Democratic candidate for Maryland governor.

Moore is the author of The Other Wes Moore and The Work, both of which are New York Times Bestsellers. He was also the host for Beyond Belief on the Oprah Winfrey Network, as well as the executive producer and a writer for Coming Back with Wes Moore on PBS.

Moore is the founder and CEO of BridgeEdU, a social enterprise dedicated to helping students in their transitions to the freshman year of college. A Baltimore Banner interview with former BridgeEdU students found that the program supported them in their first year, helping them to progress toward graduation.

If Cox wins, it is because Democrats think him easier to beat.

No crossover voting in primary in MD. Most RATs won’t do that, too many important primary races they need to vote in

The only good news is Perez (currently losing) is the CASA candidate. If Moore wins, maybe the RAT Hispanics will sit out in November

Funny...I saw ONLY dimmocrap political signs all around my polling place today. Not a single sign for a Republic candidate of any ilk. Unless someone took them down.... There was a trio of 20-somethings sitting in the shade under a tree on the school grounds, greeting voters as they arrived. I just had to wonder...

The outcome probably won't be know for quite some time:

In addition to primary election day ballots, properly submitted mail-in ballots have to be counted, and that will not start until 10 a.m. Thursday, July 21, per state law.

Mail-in ballots can be accepted until July 29. There were some 500,000 mail-in ballots sent to voters for this election, according to SBE. Local election officials will count ballots through July 29, and mail-in ballot counting will continue in the days following primary election day.

Lol that DGA MD commercial!

Worst “attack” ad ever! There was NO spin that made it seem to be a negative to protect 2nd Amend, be pro-life, and be Trump-endorsed!

The only thing that made it an attack ad was at the end with the “TOO CONSERVATIVE for MD”!

I love that ad. It shows how out of touch the DGA is.

ABC has called it for Cox!

Who the hell is Wes Moore?

NYT must have very low standards to be a “best seller”.

I cannot believe Franchot is losing big. He is the only one I know, and figured he would be the choice.

His book “The Other Wes Moore” is really worth the read.

I read it a couple of years ago, may be time for a reread.

“only Dimocrapt signs...” I lived in Camp Springs, MD, i.e. a couple miles from Andrews AFB, for 30 years and I don’t recall ever seeing any Republican signs around the primary polling places I’d drive past on my way to/from work.
