A damning Texas probe into the Uvalde school massacre reveals in excruciating detail how easily and quickly the killer amassed his ammo and weapons.
Fiend Salvador Ramos had tried to convince kin to buy him weapons before he legally turned 18 on May 16, to no avail.
So he busied himself purchasing firearms accessories about three months before — “including 60 30-round magazines, a holographic weapon sight, and a Hellfire Gen 2 snap-on trigger system” — and on his 18th birthday, began stockpiling the other crucial elements to his slaughter, the report found.
That day — a week before he fatally gunned down 19 fourth-graders and two teachers at his old elementary school — “an online retailer shipped 1,740 rounds of 5.56mm 75-grain boat tail hollow point [bullets] to his doorstep, at a cost of $1,761.50,’’ the report said.
Ramos also “ordered a Daniel Defense DDM4 V7 (an AR-15-style rifle) for shipment to a gun store in Uvalde, at a cost of $2,054.28 (including tax and transfer fee),’’ the probe found.
The next day, “he bought a Smith and Wesson M&P15 (also an AR-15-style rifle) at the same store in Uvalde, at a cost of $1,081.42.’’

As the retailer of the weapon(s) one has final say on if they will transfer the weapon. I have sold hundreds of guns over the years working in an FFL business. I have refused to sell to 6 people because their stories didn’t add up. One was a ATF informant I found out later.
As far as this murderer is concerned, I am pretty sure (based upon the images) that he would of required extra scrutiny from myself and my employer prior to the sale, if we decided to sell to him.
Not every thing requires law to ban it. Personal responsibility comes into play at some point. I know the person that sold some of the weapons to the Las Vegas shooter. He was a repeat customer that everyone, at the gun counter, liked. It is an imperfect system.
You want people to be flagged for possible mental illness based on appearance/dress? Yikes.
Article never says where he got the money (assuming that he paid cash). Or if he already had a credit card, which he knew he would never pay back.
I can get those at a little more than half that cost.
Where did he get the 5 grand? Cartel ?
How does one make that many adult men behave in such a bizarre and unreasonable manner?
You’re right. Looks reveal that different people have different tastes as far as clothing, hair style, tattoos, etc. They also reveal that they might have different amounts of money. Just because someone likes a neck tattoo because they think it makes them look tough or cool doesn’t mean you should infringe upon their rights. And just because someone looks like they have “dead eyes” whatever the eff that is supposed to mean, likewise doesn’t mean you should infringe upon their god-given rights. The “dead eyes” look could be caused from something as simple as being on allergy medicine where the anti-histamine is making the person feel sleepy or out of it. I know if my allergies are acting up and I take something like Claritin for them it almost always does this to me.
The question isn’t whether he could have made enough money to buy the weapons, ammo & body armor.
It’s whether or not it’s reasonable to assume he was frugal and responsible enough to save up that amount of money after paying for all of his tats and dope.
Yes , I want people flagged for appearances. Start with neck tats, chains hanging, nose and tongue piercings, foul language in public and agitated behaviors. Call me a Nazi, I’ll bet 90% of the mentally ill would be off the streets if society had decency standards enforced.
“Do the math”
OK
20X52X$15=$15,600-taxes.
In several articles it stated he lived rent free with his grandma
And he shot his grandma who asked him to pay his own cell bill so he wasn’t even paying that.
He had no car so no gas, ins etc
Clothing? Lol come on. Jeans and t-shirts
He had a goal that he admitted to his co workers at Wendys.
Man, Wendys really pays well, doesn’t it?
Right
And with no exoenses how much is left to buy weaponry?
Just about all of it. Plenty of money.
Appearance matters. If someone looks like a total loser, no one should allow their daughter to date.
Make an effort. Everyone else in the world does. You are not special.
Repeat: you are not special. Being told you are by another loser just makes both of you total TWOT’s.
M&Dad had no questions?
This is sorta like the “parents” who give their kid a PC and let them have it behind a locked bedroom door.
Gessh. Why not just hand them a box of matches?
Losers breed losers.
It boggles the mind that someone like you feels at home on a site that stands for individual liberty while you want people removed from society who don’t adhere to your standards of acceptable appearance.
He saved his money, duh.
I agree
He was obsessed and his family enabled him.
Who wants to admit your child/ grandson is dangerously ill?
And you are not crazy and evil. Neither are most people.
