Two teenagers attempted to rob and carjack the wrong family. The incident was caught on video footage available below.
An armed Texas dad shot and injured two 16-year-olds who allegedly crept up behind the vehicles as the family was arriving at their home in Houston.
The teenagers attempted to open the car’s rear door where two infants were seated — both only 1 year old. The mother was seated in front.
The father fired several rounds and hit both suspects. His wife drove off in an attempt to get away.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the father feared for the safety of his family. Watch the clip below:
Both suspects are said to be stable and in fair condition.

What a shame
He missed. I can only imagine what a monster he could have been if he had finished the job with a shot to each head. No one else’s family would have ever been endangered by those two. 100% sure.

I watched this clip but the cars never move, you never see anyone and just hear shots, see them flying through air. Wish there was a better clip but it is what it is.
I believe you were the person who said that your own driveway is the most dangerous place you can be in terms of getting robbed or shot.

Sorry, the idea was that he should have finished off the two perpetrators. The media would have called him a monster for killing those kids, but they are ‘probably’ going to do it or something as bad again.
No mention of the race so I assume it was the Amish again.
You missed the very beginning where some SUV type vehicle went elbows-and-ass outta there....
Have an attached garage. I try to remember to check underneath the other car or anyone stowing away inside.
Also usually back in the garage, aka “tactical parking” as it makes leaving much more comfortable. But is it “tactical” in suburbia? I think so. Either way, beware of one’s surroundings.
I was kinda hoping that the two 16-year-old punks would not make it to 17. Too bad Dad did not take head shots, as I would have. Get more practice in on the range, pops.

If the father had ‘finished them off’ he would have been charged with murder.
What the good father did was self defense.
That said, spending a little more time at a shooting range might have saved his community and the world a lot a pain and misery.
I think everyone is second guessing dear old Dad here.
He did an outstanding job here - he was READY for just such an occurrence in every sense of the word. That alone is a rarity.
Kids? No, they are assailants.
