It’s probably been hell for the January 6 defendants who have been in jail for months awaiting trial for parading in a capitol building. As far as we know, Ray Epps, who was caught on video literally inciting people to storm the Capitol, hasn’t spent any time in prison. Heck, even January 6 committee member Adam Kinzinger talked with “Ray” (they’re on a first-name basis now) and concluded that he was “just another misled man.” He was let off because authorities say he didn’t do anything wrong. There was a lot of suspicion that Epps was working on behalf of the FBI, but the New York Times says that’s a baseless accusation. Epps has suffered enormously over the past 10 months because of it.
Ray Epps has suffered enormously in the past 10 months as right-wing media figures and Republican politicians have baselessly described him as a covert government agent who helped to instigate the attack on the Capitol last year. @alanfeuer https://t.co/fDMuiqbHxu

Obscure right-wing media outlets, like Revolver News, used selectively edited videos and unfounded leaps of logic to paint him as a secret federal asset in charge of a “breach team” responsible for setting off the riot at the Capitol.

The January 6 select committee has been using selectively edited videos … what’s your point?
My god this ratio

Only been up a couple hours too.

Wanted to get in on this before you locked the thread – thanks Adam pic.twitter.com/jSWjQfsku0

If only he would explain why he was walking around telling folks that they need to go inside the Capitol…
— InMyHumbleOpinion (@IMHO1969) July 13, 2022
Out of all the people in trouble and jail, there’s evidence against him. Could he explain it?
— Jacque (@Jajngn) July 13, 2022
My god this ratio

He is on video instigating the attack. Why was this man cleared? Why is he now treated like a hero? Snarl words aren't a defense.
— Yancy, Part II (@yancypart2) July 13, 2022
Uhhh… there's video of him inciting a mob to attack the Capitol.
— Kyle Hunter, FRMetS (@KyleHunter) July 13, 2022
Ever wonder why Ray Epps told the crowd to tear down the gate and breach the Capitol when he himself didn’t?.
— 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 (@beesstng) July 13, 2022
he's literally on video doing the things that the people actually being held in gulags are unjustly accused of
— Corvaier (@Corvaier) July 13, 2022
Okay, maybe he isn't a government agent. But he was there inciting people to take the actions some took. But he isn't being held accountable? Kind of makes one think he's being protected. Why? Fed maybe?
— Clayton Scott (@claytonmscott) July 13, 2022
Imagine if there was no video evidence of him egging people on & actually participating in actions that others have been arrested for, jailed & charged with crimes. Where are the answers from DOJ for why he hasn’t been charged similarly? Why aren’t you curious about it too?

“baselessly” https://t.co/cESN5ZL0aE
— Sackcloth + Ashes (@flamingclownpoo) July 13, 2022
He's on video coaching people into the building.

Came for the ratio. Wasn’t disappointed.
— Myrddin the Weathered (@ynyfrwydrnawr) July 13, 2022
He got away with some mean words. At least they didn’t put him in solitary confinement with no charges.
— King Tired 2 (@KingLassitude2) July 13, 2022
This is a joke right?
— 🇺🇸 Dull Boy Jack 🇮🇹 (@GiacomoDaniel2) July 13, 2022
Seems like he got off pretty light compared to a lot of people.
— Free Range Serf (@FreeRangeSerf) July 13, 2022
Yeah, it sure does. He was actively directing people to enter the Capitol but Kinzinger doesn’t seem to think he’s a bad guy.
Ray Epps is the only right wing person they defend
— – (@DoeRayLove) July 13, 2022
Is he not an insurrectionist???
— Caesar Pounce (@caesar_pounce) July 13, 2022
He actually did do what everyone said and was never arrested. Maybe he isn't a fed, but he was an instigator. What is amazing is no one seems to want to know.

Sweet ratio, bro.

I never thought I’d see the day where I’d read a glowing, sympathetic profile of a leader of the capital riots in the NYT. But, here we are.
— The High Ground (@HighGroundBlog) July 13, 2022
The Times is running a sob story about Epps, who, once again, is on video inciting the riot. Grandmothers have gone to jail just for being in the building, but you don’t see the Times doing any stories about them, because they’re insurrectionists.

Ray Epps is free but this 69 year old sweet woman with cancer just went to prison
https://twitter.com/artvalley818_/status/1547549635358724099
The article claims that Epps is a cooperating witness who contacted the FBI as soon as they posted his photograph online. My guess is his testimony will be used against other J6 protesters.
Its a real shame about him having to sell his ranch and move into a trailer in the mountains due to all the negative attention he garnered though...he’s really a victim in this whole saga.🙄
Wait for November midterms.
Epps did that? OMG!
EVERYONE keeps talking about the midterms, what the hell good are the midterms going to do our side has ALWAYS BEEN DC SCUM!! For decades OUR SIDE have won elections and just look at our republic, we have won FAR MORE elections than the Dems and just look at our republic!! LOOK at what OUR SIDE did over the 2020 election WE HAVE Republican state legislators and governors AND Sec. of state in ALL of these swing states WHAT THE HELL did they do to help us??? SPIT
Sometimes I’m slow on the uptake, cuz Ray Epps must be a full blown Trump lover. Since he must be, NYT must hate him. Too bad NYT doesn’t treat Trump like Ray Epps.
You will not see one picture of him inside the capital because he was doing his job outside rallying and instigating the crowd. And now the New York Times is giving him a glowing report. You know this guy is guilty as hell. rest maga folks who were just holding a flag on the steps of the Capitol are in jail right now. So what’s wrong with this picture? The guy is an informant and he works for the FBI. They have completely scrubbed all his info from his employment record for the sake of trying to nail Trump. The guy is a an FBI Employee. I guess they think we’re really really stupid.
They tried this crap again few months ago with a small group of people holding holding flags and all dressed in the same khaki pants calling themselves the mega Trump team. We knew right away that those guys were not legit. They’ll do anything to destroy the right and Trump. Posobeic warned us of red flags 🚩 to come to destroy Trump and the mega revolution. Keep your eyes peeled there’s gonna be more coming down the drain.
Remember, he was on the FBI most wanted list for 6 months (by picture) but when his name and location was disclosed he was quietly removed and the FBI claimed no knowledge of him.
So, Epps is on video calling for the storming of the capitol the day before, and is seen directing the breaching of the barricades and crossing the line but is now being defended by the New York Times as a victim of the right? That’s all I need as proof he is with the FBI.
Irony?
Twilight Zone?
From FBI Most Wanted to victim.
How quaint.
Ray Epps is becoming a little well too known now to the public and is in danger of being Arkansided so he stays quiet permanently.
Ray Epps has a lot of ‘splainin’ to do.
He claims that he agreed last minute to go to DC with one of his sons and another friend to support Trump. If that’s true, then why is he on video at 12:50 pm when the gates were first being breached while Trump was still speaking at the rally. Which son did he go with and was his son arrested?
He claims he was taken off the list of wanted protestors 2 days after the protest because he called the FBI when he heard he was wanted. How many other protestors were afforded that opportunity and then allowed to go free?
His full name is James Ray Epps, and he’s married to Robyn Poyfair Epps. He has a son named James and another named Darrell, but I’m pretty sure he’s got more kids because he claims to have 37 grandchildren! And of course, they’re Mormon.
They resided in a house in Queen Creek, AZ, on a small farm. In 2019, they built The Knotty Barn on an adjacent piece of land and they rent it out for weddings, celebrations of life, and meetings. They claim they sold it at a loss and now live in a trailer on some land at the foot of the Rockies in Colorado. There’s a Scott Epps that lived in Payson, Colorado, outside of Colorado Springs who I assume is a relative, so he could be living in that general area.
Everybody on his wife’s FB page just adores them, and most of the testimonials from the Knotty Barn remark on how sweet and kind they are. Of course, most of those testimonials are from relatives who had their receptions there, lol.
In summary, he could be a Boy Scout in real life, but I just think there are too many unanswered questions about Ray’s activities on 1/6 for which we really need an explanation.
Did he vote for Trump? Why was he there?
Ray Epps, who was caught on video literally inciting people to storm the Capitol.

Not your fathers FBI
I like the video where he is speaking to a crowd on January 5th saying that "tomorrow we need to go into the Capitol" and the crowd starts chanting "Fed! Fed! Fed!"
i saw him on tv being an instigator, does he deny saying the things he did ??
