Yuge tax dodge...

********

Yep and most anyone else would do the same if they were in the
same situation and able to do so. Most people look out for family
first and other things are layered out as they see fit. JMO

I just remember that Jackie O’s estate was in a charitable remainder trust where the estate grew tax free and the kids got the return on the tax free growth with what was an equivalent to taxing the estate at 3 to 5 percent. Pretty much nothing.

Why doesn’t he just die now? That would be the greatest gift of all to the world.

Thanks for the link. Oddly, I never heard of Chuck Feeney before.

This is crap. By transferring it to a foundation, probably no longer taxed. It’s not like he’s not going to have access or control of the moneys, and I’m quite sure the ‘foundation’ will support him in the lifestyle to which he’s become accustomed. He’s just another scammer. Most of these ‘foundations’ are nothing but scams.

There should be a 33% annual tax rate on all foundations. They never end up being good.

They should be taxed exactly like any other business. That will never happen though, because politicians use this 'foundation' scam. The rich always protect their wealth, while taxing the living crap out of the middle class, and the marginally 'rich'.

Until he actually does it it’s called virtue signaling. I’m sure he plans on leaving all his money to his foundation after he dies

The foundation is just a way of dodging taxes.

He still has control over his money.

Who has control of this “Foundation”?
Why it is Bill Gates and family!
Tax free too!

Yup, this is nothing but a tax dodge. Laws are written so the wealthy can drive train loads of money through them, dump it in foundations, and pay themselves and their families in perpetuity.
