....Ukraine is getting an additional $1.7 billion in assistance from the U.S. government and the World Bank to pay the salaries of its beleaguered health care workers and provide other essential services.
The money coming Tuesday from the U.S. Agency for International Development, the Treasury Department and the World Bank is meant to alleviate...

Your great grandkids will have their great grandkids pay the interest.
Health care for everyone!
Printing money for the elites to skim off the top.BUMP
What about the teachers? Won’t somebody think of the teachers??? /s
Hang on! August is on the way! 🤪
It's important to pay those Uke Nazi "Health Care Workers" that take up Firing Positions in Hospitals, Schools, and "Civilian" Apartments housing rocket and drone parts manufacturing and assembly facilities, behind those Human Shields held captive in the exterior rooms.
They do such good work.
How many billion is it now? It was 54 billion, when Russia’s yearly military budget is 67 billion!
Ukraine is playing their Biden Blackmail card very well!

I self identify as Ukraine, send money.
Hmm, we have hospitals and many professions who lost a lot during the pandemic, and who haven’t recovered yet, and we are helping foreigners before we help our own professions after forcing them to cut jobs and positions?
Probably abortions.
Nothing is more important than Ukraine. NOTHING!!!
Think I’ll change my name to “Hugh Crane”.
Our government has become an illegal entity.
I was pointing out on a water thread that aquaducts cost between 600,000 and 900,000 per mile to construct and get ROW for. It’s just over 800 miles from the Mississippi River to St Louis call it 850. So even at 900K per mile that’s 756 million for the pipeline. Once at Denver you need to bore a tunnel to a river valley on the other side of the continental divide that distance is about 20 miles from a 5500 foot elevation to the same on the other side in a valley. Elons Boring company has got tunneling down to under ten million per mile so let’s say 200 million for the tunnel. To pump water uphill from 500’ MSL to 5500’MSL would take pumping stations every 100 miles or so big suckers they need to move 100 cubic meters per second which is not outside multi stage centrifugal pump capacity those pumps would be 5000 hp each well get spendy with them call it 100 million per pumping stations there would be 8 of them so 800 more million. So 765+200+800 is 1.75 billion to solve the water issue in the Colorado basin forever. Instead we send it to crooks in Asia so neocons can jerk off to war porn. This is how you know our government doesn’t give two shits about the American tax payers or its people.
Oops it’s 850 miles from the Mississippi River in St Louis to Denver. Take the actual cost of the pipeline and triple it so kickbacks can be paid to all the good lobbyists and Pacs in each state along the way. Still for under ten billion a pipeline could be built sending a river’s worth of water to the Colorado basin while dropping off water in the heart of the world’s bread basket along the way each pumping station would need a holding basin next to it those could be tapped for local water use all along the path.
Interesting!
I'm with you, but there is surprising number of people who will tell you we can still do both: take care of our own while sending money to Ukraine. Strangely, though, they also tell people like you and I that money to Ukraine is a must, now (because reasons) and all those nasty little details about helping taxpayers under Biden's boot can come later. Waaay later. 2023 if you're lucky later.
