First lady Jill Biden was roasted on social media for her appearance at a "LatinX IncluXion" luncheon in San Antonio on Monday.
Biden was one of the scheduled speakers at the luncheon, which aimed to increase awareness of how Latinos are “integral” to diversity efforts in the workplace, according to the event description. But the occasion will perhaps best be known for how critics, Republicans and conservative Hispanics among them, chided the first lady for not just the name of the event but also what she said.
“Maybe if we rebrand the Southern Border as Souxern BorderX, Joe Biden will finally visit?” tweeted Texas congressional candidate Cassy Garcia, who is vying to unseat Rep. Henry Cuellar (D) in a seat Republicans believe they can flip in November.

“Jill Biden says Hispanics are as ‘unique’ as tacos and calls bodegas ‘bogidas,’” said Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ). “No wonder Hispanics are fleeing the Democratic Party!”

Oh yes from Austin to the border breakfast tacos are an obsession with Texans. Saturday and Sunday mornings are spent with breakfast tacos and michiladas which is bloody Mary mix, beer ,Mexican hot sauce, rimmed with chili salt with limes,and pickled whole jalapenos in the glass. Fajitas and eggs is a popular one, barbacoa has a cult like following, same for the guiso. Then of course eggs, chorizo the real.deal stuff loaded with all the naughty bits of salivary glands, check meat and lymph nodes the real stuff. Then lengua de rez aka beef tongue shreaded or.diced what WHAT!
If her family is into smut and licentiousness then her participation is a given.

You obviously have never been to the barrio in San Antonio or any border city in Texas. What gringos sell as tacos is laughed at as garbage. The real deal is always in the barrios San Antonio has three distinct ones. Then El Paso, Del Rio and “The Valley” all snort in the general direction of gringo tacos. You really can’t go wrong with any of the three barrios in SA.

The Mexicans have a similar dish it’s made with a porks stomach stuffed with all the naughty bits seasoned up with massive amounts of chili’s and slow cooked until mostly set. It’s cut up like blood sausage then put to the plancha the flat metal griddle screaming hot and crisped up then on corn tortillas with a verde salsa I have had it in Mexico City.

The leftists seem to have a real problem with ‘cultural appropriation’, but they seem to have NO problem with prohibiting culture.
Ha, for some it more the thought of what it is vs how it looks or tastes. Lengua looks just like finely shreaded beef or diced cubes it has a fairly strong beefy flavor perfect for tangy salsas. Beef cheeks have an almost identical tastes deeply beefy they are the main portions of true barbacoa which is the whole head slow cooked overnight then picked apart with cheeks, tongue being the main meat cuts. Prior to the BSE made cow issue the brains would also be chopped into it for a truly whole head taco but now it’s illegal in the USA. Mexico still will do whole head for those brave enough to eat it.
Chorizo the real stuff comes in two forms the northern form is a soft sausage cased but the casing is taken off to cook it. It is primarily beef or pork salivary glands,lymph nodes, sweet breads with or without the tongue and cheeks usually not those last two. The other form is closer to Spanish chorizo it’s solid and cased with the casing staying on while cooking it is diced up the solid version nearly always has the whole cheeks in it. The soft version is fried in manteca which is pork fat and rendered out frying into little bits which is then mixed with eggs to make a bright orange scrambled egg mixture which is then put hot into fresh tortillas. The hard version is served a number of ways including on borillo rolls or as chivito with pork cutlets with or without eggs.
