A Lancaster County movie theater has canceled showings of an independent movie featuring prominent right-wing Pennsylvania figures, most notably State Sen. Doug Mastriano, the Republican candidate for governor, according to LancasterOnline.
The movie, billed as an exploration of the populist right movement in Pennsylvania, was supposed to premiere July 16 at the IMAX theater in the Penn Cinema on Airport Road in Manheim Township. But the venue management cancelled it following pushback from members of Lancaster Stands Up, the newspaper reported.
The group Lancaster Stands Up started after the 2016 election of Donald Trump as “a vehicle for everyday people to have a political voice,” and to preserve democracy, according to their website.
The theater, Penn Cinema, told Lancaster Stands Up according to a statement: “We did have plans with the group, but once we learned of the nationalist populist agenda, we canceled the event.”

Sounds like a good reason for a lawsuit. Contract breach.
Just making room to show more “LEFT WING” movies.
The left fears diversity of thought.
So if this group is for democracy, why didn’t they want the movie to be shown?
Firebomb it. That’s what the left would do. I know. We’re better than that...yada yada yada.
The left fears diversity of thought.
The left fears diversity of thought.
The left fears diversity of thought.
You are spot on, and this is so fundamental to their mindset and modus operandi that I feel it needs to be used in every descriptor of the left.
Because they fear the result of defending the indefensible (loss of credibility).
I’m guessing the theater was threatened with lefty “reinforcements” - they would have called in BLM and anti-fa chapters to “burn the place down” - while the local police were told to stand down.
And, the theater owners knew it.
All this is ok. We are learning where people stand, they are exposed.
We are learning who the warriors are and can gather around them.
Fixed it.
Their theater, their decision.
Lancaster “was National Capital of the American colonies on September 27, 1777, {for just one day} when the Continental Congress was fleeing British forces (who had captured Philadelphia).” https://cityoflancasterpa.com/history/
Democracy ain’t what it used to be.
Oh just shut up.
L
I somehow picture a Lancaster liberal as someone who has electric headlights on his buggy. I guess that isn’t quite up to date.
The film called “Return of the American Patriot”
They should sue for breach of contract if one was signed. make it very expensive to cancel the rigHT.
Penn Cinema doesn't like an agenda of our nation and people.
Lancaster city is a commie haven, surrounded in the rural areas by Amish and others they hate. All the “local” papers from Lancaster and York county are commie rags, despite no one in the communities they represent being commie, just a core group in the cities. Someone tried to launch a competing conservative paper a few years ago, and the Dems used national resources to make his life so miserable he finally gave it up.
Kinda like not baking a gay cake, no??
Maybe someone ought throw a lawsuit on em, upend the owners lives, just cause they’re pussies for caving to leftists??
This place is right down the street from me. If I had the cash, I’d sue em for something.
F tard pantywaists!
Guess they don’t know their audience. South central Pa is a conservative Mecca.
Hope they get royally f’d economically.
