Former President Donald Trump called Elon Musk a “bulls–t artist” as he stumped for Republican midterm candidates in Anchorage, Alaska Saturday night.
Trump, 76, told supporters he predicted the world’s richest man would not go through with buying Twitter as he bashed the platform that banned him and promoted his Truth Social social media company.
Musk, 51, backed out of a $44 billion deal to buy the company Friday after he claimed it failed to provide information about its fake accounts.
Trump also claimed the SpaceX and Tesla boss voted for him and then lied about it.
“You know, he said the other day, ‘Oh, I’ve never voted for a Republican.’ I said, ‘I didn’t know that, he told me he voted for me.’ So he’s another bulls–t artist,” the Republican said.
The quip came after Musk said last month that he was “leaning” towards supporting GOP Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for president in 2024.

Exactly. And neither man is going to gain by starting a useless fight with the other.
That said, when it comes to Twitter, Musk is doing exactly what Trump advises...he is negotiating.
I believe I heard President Trump double down on the BS while mentioning the Mueller report. The crowd responded appropriately.

Many decades ago a retiring warrant officer assigned on me the title of “having the gift of B.S.” We all discussed this comment around others at the gathering and it was received by all as one of the highest compliments I could have received by such an esteemed, retiring W4. There is constructive B.Sing or destructive B.Sing.

The press needs to take him out of context less.
Why would Trump think this is a good idea?
Musk was never going to buy twitter. You don’t need data to know that about 35% of accounts are bots or second screen names….
I am not convinced that is an insult. The idea that Musk is BSing could help him to buy it cheaper. We shall see what comes of this. After the twitter price drops, Musk could buy it later and invite Trump on board.
It should be remembered that Forbes in it’s 100th anniversary issue did a long piece on the ongoing relation between Forbes and by then President Trump.
The jist of it was Trump bull shit written as notes to Forbes over a period of many years. So, when it comes to promoting one’s self with what some might call hyperbole and others call bull shit, Trump is a master of the art.
Further in the issue where the wisdom of many, many top of the line American Businessmen were written and thus recorded, Trump as Trump and also President provided words appropriate for the issue and the moment......... no BS
Musk should either back Trump or shut up about politics.
I remember skinny guys with no arms in school who used to do this stuff all the time, too. I guess now I know they went into jurinalism.
