German citizens are loading up on wood to heat their homes next year — just like they did in the Middle Ages.

She said if you were visiting, you ask permission to turn on the lights!
They took vacations at the coldest time of the year to turn off the heat at home and save...

My grandmother talked of burning furniture to keep the family warm during the depression. I guess they can’t do that now with all the press board plastic infused crap they use to make furniture these days.

Dear Germany, you have forests all around you. You have fireplaces that you probably boarded up. Call the chimney sweeps to make sure the are safe before winter arrives.
