The United States will provide almost $368 million in additional humanitarian aid to Ukraine to support people inside Ukraine and refugees forced to leave their country, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has said.

"Our commitment to the people of Ukraine is resolute. The United States is providing nearly $368 million in additional humanitarian aid to support people inside Ukraine and refugees forced to flee their country to seek safety in the midst of Russia's brutal war," he wrote on Twitter on Saturday.

that is Saturday’s announcement. But on Friday the Pentagon announced:

The U.S. Department of Defense announced on Friday the allocation of a package of additional military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $820 million, the department’s press service reports.

“This includes an authorization of a U.S. Presidential Drawdown of security assistance valued at up to $50 million, as well as $770 million in Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative [USAI] funds,” the report says.

It clarifies that the said package is the fourteenth withdrawal of equipment from the Pentagon’s stockpiles for Ukraine that the Joe Biden administration has authorized since August 2021.

Has it not been said that insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results?

*sigh*

More money being funneled into the money-laundering blackhole called Ukraine.

Wouldn’t it just be cheaper to give all this money directly to Putin in exchange for bringing his army home ?
