Army suspends general after tweet

The Army has suspended a three-star general's contract and placed him under investigation after he posted a tweet that appeared to mock first lady Jill Biden, USA Today reports.

Retired Lt. Gen. Gary Volesky, the Army's former top spokesman, responded to a tweet from Biden that said the rights of women had been stolen in the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.

"For nearly 50 years, women have had the right to make our own decisions about our bodies. Today, that right was stolen from us," Biden tweeted.

"Glad to see you finally know what a woman is," Volesky said.

“If he’s retired how can he be suspended?”

“Volesky, who was in charge of the Army’s 101st Airborne Division, had signed a contract after he retired to advise active-duty officers as a senior mentor.”

Gee.

Why are young people not flocking to join the military?

Must be Covid.

Or really low unemployment.

Or some other stupid excuse.

It could NEVER be because our military leadership is full of woke fools.

After all young people love that kind of stuff.

Except that the young people who would choose the military tend not to trend that way.

So they do not join.

Funny how they didn't extend such courtesy to Melania.

They are never going to do anything right unless they are either forced or made irrelevant. This is a war for our future.

As an American citizen I should be able to yell out to Biden "Your wife is a bimbo, but she's still smarter than you" without him having the ability to retaliate using government resources or power. It's not in my nature to do that, but anyone should be able to.

Hunter says she has her advanced degree in grade school grammar. LOL. I think she should wear a white lab coat around with one of those 4 inch round, mirrored headpieces the physicians used to wear up into the late 1960’s.

She’d finally look respectable since she’d have to ditch the Hot Topic and Spencer’s outfits she wears now. Seen her in those fishnets and 25 dollar shoes from Shoe Factory?

That’s hawt. /s

After what Hunter called his stepmom, the generals comments are a compliment.

Ha! That would certainly cement Jill’s reputation as a “doctor”. And I would suggest one more thing. Doctor Jill should always have a stethoscope with her, just like those fake doctors in TV ads do.

“ Volesky, who was in charge of the Army’s 101st Airborne Division, had signed a contract after he retired to advise active-duty officers as a senior mentor”

Which is probably why he wasn’t too concerned.

We're not in Kansas anymore, Toto.

Once the country and the world shift into a parallel dimension, the rules no longer apply.

President Trump should meet with him and give him some help with his Mean Tweets. Maybe invite him to a rally.

It’s crucial for the Left to control speech. They make examples of higher profile people to send a message. It’s been an effective tool of tyrants. They can’t control thought, but they will try to control speech. Although, according to the WEF, thought control is right around the corner.

My first question. It’s Axios and they have the same problem as nearly every news outlet. They use people who call themselves journalists who usually spent tens of thousands of dollars and went into debt just to learn to write at a sixth-grade level.

Seems the General was right. Why should he be persecuted for writing the truth? (Repeat!)
