Twitter stick collapses due to them hiding the fake accounts....

Musk buys it for even less.

Winning! /not Charlie

It’d really be something if this eviscerated Twitter.
Musk could write another deal to buy them out at a share price 1/10th of his prior deal.

Nevertheless, the sh*t has been stirred and the share price will be more rational.

Or perhaps he was quietly shorting it all along? I have no reason to think that, but that's how the story should be written in a novel. /smirk

BUT his Twitter offer meant he got to sell lots of his investment in Tesla without other Tesla investors thinking they needed to sell too, and without the SEC investigating him for insider trading. He had an excuse for selling. Now he has the cash for whatever is next.

I’ve been on Twitter since 2009.

The Troll and Spam accounts are clearly more than 20% and possibly 25%.

And they don’t last long, they will bring an account on that is only there for a month of 2 months. Other troll accounts appear to have been there for many years but only have 5 followers and almost no tweets.

I’ve had the same account since June 2009. It is the only account I’ve ever had.

There is no way that they are less than 5%. It is totally impossible.

I hope that happens. It will be an indicator and probably the death knell of Twitter.

No, regardless of the court, he has an out option that will cost him a billion dollars.

He has that kind of money, but I very very seriously doubt he has any intent of giving it to Twitter.

They did not provide the information on the fake or troll accounts. There is no question it is higher than 5%. A more realistic number would be 20-25%. I’ve been on Twitter since Jun 2009. I know what a den of snakes it is.

Hell of it is, to defend themselves Twitter will need to produce the same information Musk has been asking for. SOP in any due diligence process.

Unless Musk’s lawyers are complete buffoons I think he’s got ‘em.

.... Elon Pulls out of Twitter.....

Hands them a towel to do their best at cleaning themselves up while he walks away with a smile and lights up a smoke.

Imagine getting a letter by Skadden Arps. If you’re only worth $500,000 it’s no big deal. They wouldn’t be bothering with you. But if you’re worth a lot more, getting a letter from them could ruin your day and a lot more.

I have read that that may not be correct. Like a contract to buy a house, he may possibly be forced to perform. A court will decide, and which court will that be?

The writers' names were also a little messed up, but read it, it's short.

You can bet your booties that Musk had this in mind from the beginning. His mind just calculates endlessly. He's like Merlin in Camelot.

LOL no so much. It's funny to see the way ideals are being projected onto Musk.

The reality is that he is a mostly liberal druggy yupster from Silicon Valley bouncing from one impulse to the next.
