This nutcase could or would probably attach his name to anything political, and not believe it personally. Another photo shows the freak dressed like Waldo, at a Trump rally. True enough. But at the same time, there are plenty of people around here who are quite happy to make the identity and (assumed) motives of the suspect a political (even a partisan political) issue. Well, you play that game, you better be prepared to take the bitter with the sweet.
The push for "gun control" is indeed a political issue. But to otherwise seek some sort of partisan advantage in such a situation, by keying off fact-free assumptions attendant to the suspect's identity, is a fool's errand.
