Jeff Bezos blasts Biden for blaming gas companies for high pump prices
New York Post ^ | July 3, 2022 | Sam Raskin

Jeff Bezos chastised President Biden Saturday for blaming gas station companies for sky-high prices at the pump — declaring the commander-in-chief either employed “misdirection” or displayed a “deep misunderstanding” of economic fundamentals.

In a Saturday afternoon tweet, the official presidential account wrote, “My message to the companies running gas stations and setting prices at the pump is simple: this is a time of war and global peril.”

“Bring down the price you are charging at the pump to reflect the cost you’re paying for the product,” Biden added. “And do it now.”

You know, I’ll bet a whole bunch of other people “blast” Biden
every day. Why is Bezos so special and important? Is somebody paying
special attention to things he says because of romantic interest?

What kind of a sleaze calling himself a “leader” knowingly blames some little guy for the consequences of his own policies.

Cowardly POS.

Yet Bezos owns the Washington Post which slavishly serves as an uncritical propaganda platform for the demented corrupt Biden and his cabal. Bezos at his core is vapid. IMHO he is jealous of Musk and the attention Musk gets.

Because Bezos is one of the most powerful people in the world. He funds a lot of Democrat politics, directly or indirectly. He is also influential in the whole internet ecosystem, as Amazon controls much of the back end of everything on the internet.

Bezos complaining about Biden shows a fundamental split in the US establishment.

Biden going back to ground and blaming business like an old school ‘rat is a good sign. The government/corporate partnership we’ve seen develop over the past decade was going to be very difficult to defeat.

Bezos is vain and shallow, but he is nevertheless an extremely smart fellow. His rivalry with Musk is over trivial things, from his point of view, vanity projects. His core businesses are solid, and in those he isnt Musks rival.

Bezos is a business man. You can't fool him with Biden crap like "the gas stations are gouging you." Anyone with a clue about how the economy works will have no doubt the gas stations are hurting too.

The general concept of most gas stations/convenience stores is epitomized by Buc-ee’s. Low margin volume on fuel as a way to draw you in for the high margin crap in the store. I can imagine that the (misplaced) animosity over high fuel prices is keeping a lot of people in/at their cars and not in the store making profitable impulse buys. And on top of that they have to listen to an ignorant, senile President who has no knowledge of petroleum economics simply command them to lower prices. Ugh!

Exactly, although I wouldn’t write Biden’s blatherings off to ignorance. He’s a nasty, cowardly lying sack of dog squeeze and knows just what he’s doing.

The cracks are emerging in the Democrat party. After the midterms, it will be fully out in the open. The last hand they’re playing as a unified party in the Jan 6 committee. It’s the last gasp of a desperate party.

One guy can read a balance sheet. The other guy never had an actual job in his entire life except for helping his family and others strip mine the country.

That doesn’t matter. The Democrats are merely a tool of the New World Order. The NWO will throw them away when they are no longer useful. That’s why their type are called “Useful Idiots”.

They’ll be replaced by something much worse.

I see a lot of references to Bezos being connected to THE King family of Texas...which supposedly was the basis for the movie Giant. Might explain why adopted father spent his years working at Exxon. I did see where his grandfather was the nephew of Robert T Hall

Or maybe Bezos is just sensitive because his dad worked so long for an oil compay

I know some of you have connections to Gonzales Texas and the rebellion. You should check to see if you are related to Bezos.
