Because Bezos is one of the most powerful people in the world. He funds a lot of Democrat politics, directly or indirectly. He is also influential in the whole internet ecosystem, as Amazon controls much of the back end of everything on the internet.

Bezos complaining about Biden shows a fundamental split in the US establishment.

Biden going back to ground and blaming business like an old school ‘rat is a good sign. The government/corporate partnership we’ve seen develop over the past decade was going to be very difficult to defeat.

Bezos is a business man. You can't fool him with Biden crap like "the gas stations are gouging you." Anyone with a clue about how the economy works will have no doubt the gas stations are hurting too.

The cracks are emerging in the Democrat party. After the midterms, it will be fully out in the open. The last hand they’re playing as a unified party in the Jan 6 committee. It’s the last gasp of a desperate party.
