KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) --- A new poll released Friday night by the Trafalgar Group has the three leading candidates in the Missouri U.S. Senate Republican primary separated by about one point.
The poll released on Friday has current U.S. House Rep. Vicky Hartzler (R-MO) leading former Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens and current Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt.
Hartzler earned 24.0% in the poll, with Greitens coming in with 23.5% and Schmitt rounding out the top three with 22.8%.
The primary is one of the top contested races across the country.

Ugh. Hartzler is awful. Pro-amnesty while trying to tell you she’s not.
What is it with the Show Me state—supposedly conservative but with only mush for pols?
I’m voting for Schmitt in the primary. Hartzler is my second choice. If Greitens gets the nomination, I will vote for him, but he will take this race from safe GOP to toss-up.
I think Greitens’ ad about RINO Hunting reminded GOP voters that he has a tendency to shoot himself in the foot. Polls show he is the weakest candidate against potential Dem candidates in November.
Missouri is not so conservative as you might think. Female Democrats have won a Senate seat three times in the last 22 years.
Mainly because of motivated people in KC, St Louis, Columbia vs lazy rural conservatives. Need a serious GOTV campaign in the rural areas.

Thank you.
Same here. While I do worry about Schmidt eventually becoming swampy, he’s smart and as of late, has been fighting the good fight so hopefully he’ll do the same in DC. Hartzler talks a good Christian game but doesn’t have much fire in her belly. Greitens goes off the rails too easy.
Why would you screw up your first term as Gov by having an affair with your hairdresser? Possibly a bizarre affair too. Maybe he’s still a dem in some ways.
I’m surprised Long made it through covid with his obesity.
There’s something about the way Greitens talks that really rubs me the wrong way. He’s like one of those motivational speakers or a multi-level marketing guru. There’s an “ick” factor, almost like Al Gore. Ted Cruz has always seemed a bit “icky” to me as well.
Obviously, it’s subjective - that kind of vibe appeals to some people - and I have no doubt he’s true MAGA. However, I can’t stand listening to him talk - and that worries me - if I don’t like him maybe other MAGA voters won’t either.
Eric “Got a Gun” Greitens… his last “RINO” hunting ad SEALed his fate. He should drop out. He doesn’t have any sense. Whoever his political advisors are that would recommend he put up an ad to “hunt” people with guns doesn’t understand the times we are living in. The rats will use that ad against him should he win the primary.
Hey, Dr. Oz can only run in one state at a time. </sarcasm>
If an 18 year old had posted something like that ad on Facebook you would have had police coming out of the woodwork investigating him on the chance he was getting ready to shoot up a school.
Where does one buy flash bangs anyway?
Which one is the most AmericaFirst?
Great, another Bush League Republican Senator, just what we need...../s
Either Hartzler or Schmitt need to drop out, there’s still too high a chance that we end up with Greitens.
Big undecided number.
Haha - good observation. That and he’s too monotone. He also puts an accent on every single syllable, which kinda defeats the purpose of accents.
