The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday ruled in favor of state Republican Party leaders in a case nominally about a voter identification law that a lower North Carolina court previously found was passed with “racial discrimination” as a “motivating factor.”
Stylized as Berger v. NC Conference of NAACP, the case was decided in favor of GOP state legislators who argued the Tarheel State’s Democratic Attorney General was not “adequately” defending North Carolina Senate Bill 824, which requires a photo ID to vote.

NONE! They have presented ZERO evidence that anybody is prevented from getting government issued photo ID in NC.
I know several homeless people in NC. They all have IDs.
I am so tired of these people claiming a photo ID is racist. Folks are just lazy and don’t want to be bothered to get an ID. If you own a car, you have to have insurance and a driver’s license. If you don’t and get caught, you get a ticket. The same with travel or getting government benefits, You have to prove who you are. Period.

India has 4 times bigger voters than USA, and India was invaded by Aryan nomads 5000 years ago, Alexander the Greek, Mongol Chengiz Khan, Arab Muslims, Persians from Iran, and various others. However all the 900 million voters have been issued voter ID cards and those are required to vote.
