“So, looks like the Dobbs decision will be next week?”
Maybe not. According to the court calendar, the court will release more opinions tomorrow. As of 2 minutes ago, there are no opinion days scheduled for next week, which means that tomorrow may very well be the last day of the term.

Here is a good one.
New York State Rifle & Pistol Assn., Inc. v. Bruen (20-843)
New York’s proper-cause requirement for obtaining an unrestricted license to carry a concealed firearm violates the Fourteenth Amendment in that it prevents law-abiding citizens with ordinary self-defense needs from exercising their Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms.

While promoting what you perceive as your self interest is universal, in DC the power to reward and punish is somewhat unique. The system buys people off and otherwise finds ways to intimidate and convince them to “be reasonable”. The old DC aphorism applies: To get along, go along.

To me, the fencing put up around the Court says the most about the decision that's coming. They're expecting big-time trouble.

The total number of Trump Article III judgeship nominees to be confirmed by the United States Senate was 234, including three associate justices of the Supreme Court of the United States, 54 judges for the United States courts of appeals, 174 judges for the United States district courts, and three judges for the United States Court of International Trade...wikipediaAnd many thanks to President Trump...for making America's Court great again...

When it comes to promoting your self interest you do whatever works in a situation.
In DC that’s what seems to work for some.

If it goes against them (whenever that is) the pro-abortion crowd will tear down those fences like a zombie apocalypse.
At least that’s what I’d expect they’ll try.

Yep. That’s a pretty flimsy fence. Will not manage the onslaught.

When I cast my first vote for President Trump, SCOTUS and federal judiciary nominations were my most important priorities.
Mission accomplished. Thanks to President Trump, To Justice Thomas and to the ruling majority of the Court.
One step back towards our Republic. A big one. Thanks be to God.

Still a da*m important ruling because before it a Soros AG or SoS could refuse to defend the sovereign legislatures voter ID and other election law and they were left without recourse regardless of how reasonable and objectively constitutional the law. Now they can bypass the bastards and at least have their day in court.

Or he might be waiting for the conservative Justices to make plans and go out of town for awhile.
Also, Justice Comey-Barret has young children in school and school needs to be done for the summer.
