Lol. Russia couldn’t trust...?

That’s the country that’s invaded and annexed regions from FOUR different countries in the last twenty years, despite binding international agreements of recognition and mutual respect for each others’ sovereignty.

The country that is unilaterally derecognising Lithuania’s 31 year old independence from a USSR that doesn’t even exist anymore.

The country that is now threatening Khazakstan as well.. only because its leader refuses to violate international law by recognising DPR and LPR as independent of Ukraine (in effect sticking rigidly to the established and China/Kremlin approved scripts for Kosovo and Taiwan).

The country that managed to have a near dead old duffer called Zhirinovsky tell the Duma last year to expect something big to happen in Ukraine around dawn on 22nd February 2022, but whose diplomats were still denying it was planning to invade Ukraine right into mid February.

The country that has been conducting cyber warfare against healthcare institutions in the west for over a decade.

The country that used internationally banned weapons in a “special military operation” and has practically levelled two cities and dozens of towns but STILL denies it’s waging a war of aggression.

That country.

The country that materially broke 4 if not 5 of the undertakings in the Budapest Memorandum even before Zelenskyy was elected.

The country that corrupted Yanukovych.

The country that accuses Ukraine of genocide against russians in the Donbss despite the Donbas ombudsman ITSELF telling Russia that the casualty rate plummeted by 95% after Zelenskyy implemented the armistice and ordered Azov to stand down.

Face facts. There is literally nothing Russia has done ever in Putin’s period of office, in relation to its neighbors, that is honest.

For it to complain about the dishonesty of states that are merely responding reasonably to having ALREADY being threatened if not explicitly attacked by a pathologically dishonest, aggressive Russian government, is possibly the most breathtaking example of hypocrisy in the history of geopolitics.

Russia fears an existential threat from Lithuania?!

Really?

The bear is that scared of a mouse. Yeah. If you believe that, I’ve got a garage full of London Bridges to sell you.

Very interesting times…and your comments are also interesting and show actual knowledge and analysis of the situation.

One aspect that nobody mentions is that while our days of super power hegemony are ending, we were definitely very involved in starting this conflict…beginning with putting the wildly unqualified Zelensky in power in the first place and then encouraging and even funding his fantasies. Joe Biden is directly responsible for all this through his son, the fantastically corrupt and amoral Hunter Biden, and their machinations in the Ukraine.

For reasons of their own, they pushed it from a simmering long-term dispute that could have been solved diplomatically if anyone had been willing to negotiate it in good faith (Zelensky clearly has not been acting in good faith), to the edge of WWIII…and at the same time destroyed the credibility of the US.

I think it is foolish super-power hubris, expressed in the unworthy persons of Joe and Hunter Biden, that is ending up by bringing us down as a super-power and putting an end to the unipolar super-power world.

Even our economy is collapsing, and having no economic power is as bad as having no military power. Of course, ironically, the sanctions we have put on Russia have come back to bite us (and the Europeans who followed us), and that’s not helping either.

Obviously, this didn’t happen overnight and the rot was there even before Biden officially became President, but don’t forget that he and Hunter had been involved in the Ukraine for years and seem to have continued acting as a shadow State Department even under Trump.

Zelensky has bested Little Pukin this entire war.

When is Little Pukin going to visit the front lines?

https://www.moonofalabama.org/2022/06/ukraine-sitrep-lysichansk-cauldron-sinking-morale-more-provocations.html#more

The former CIA and intelligence bigwig Graham Fuller predicts a gloomy outcome of the U.S-Russia proxy war in Ukraine. Gloomy for Ukraine, the U.S. and Europe:

Contrary to Washington’s triumphalist pronouncements, Russia is winning the war, Ukraine has lost the war. Any longer-term damage to Russia is open to debate.

American sanctions against Russia have turned out to be far more devastating to Europe than to Russia. The global economy has slowed and many developing nations face serious food shortages and risk of broad starvation.

There are already deep cracks in the European façade of so-called “NATO unity.” Western Europe will increasingly rue the day that it blindly followed the American Pied Piper to war against Russia. Indeed, this is not a Ukrainian-Russian war but an American-Russian war fought by proxy to the last Ukrainian.

Contrary to optimistic declarations, NATO may in fact ultimately emerge weakened. Western Europeans will think long and hard about the wisdom and deep costs of provoking deeper long term confrontations with Russia or other “competitors”of the US.

Europe will sooner or later return to the purchase of inexpensive Russian energy. Russia lies on the doorstep and a natural economic relationship with Russia will possess overwhelming logic in the end.

Europe already perceives the US as a declining power with an erratic and hypocritical foreign policy “vision” premised upon the desperate need to preserve “American leadership” in the world. America’s willingness to go to war to this end is increasingly dangerous to others.

###

Two weeks ago I wrote that the Ukrainians will soon reach a breaking point. Today's 'clobber list' by the Russia Ministry of Defense has an additional part about Ukrainian troop loses that supports that take:

Since May 19, during the month, only the 14th Mechanised Brigade of the AFU has lost 2,100 persons who resulted dead and wounded. Due to low moral and psychological conditions, 800 persons destined for replenishing the losses of this unit, refused to go to the operational area and accused officers of incompetence, bribery and cronyism in paying money allowance.

About 100 servicemen of a reconnaissance unit of the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade have been relieved of combat duty and transported to Kremenchug for investigation.

A considerable part of the commanders of the 30th Mechanised Brigade of the AFU have abstracted themselves from managing their units and refuse to fulfil combat tasks. All kinds of pretexts are used for simulating illness. The majority of units have already been left without any officers.

A mechanized brigade has about 3,500 soldiers. In one month the Ukrainian 14th lost two third of its people. The replacements are not trained on mechanized equipment (tanks, APCs) that likely no longer exists and can only be used as unprotected infantry. It is no wonder that they reject to be send into a hopeless situation.

The Ukrainian leadership is still sending new units into the Lysichansk cauldron in the east. The Russians do not mind that. Their job is to "demilitarize" Ukraine. To enclose more troops in one swoop makes that easier.

If I were the Russians, I'd take control of every inch of Ukraine rather than tolerate out meddling and attempts at insurgencies.

Russia has systematically destroyed the civilian infrastructure in Eastern Ukraine

That is absurd and untrue other than in Mariupol, where the Russians had to rid the area of neo-Nazi Azov regiment. Thank God they did.

Most of the fighting on the ground is being done by the DPR and LRP. They are liberating their own land in coordination with the Russians. Thus, they are being careful not keep as much infrastructure in tact as the can. The Russians are being welcomed as liberators and won't be if they were tearing apart the infrastructure.

In fact, the locals in all the areas the Russians now control despise the Ukrainian army and neo-Nazis because they were using civilians as human shields and killing them if they tried to escape.

Ukraine repeatedly has been targeting civilians in Donetsk in recent days in acts that can't be considered anything less than war crimes.

You're a Russophobe that constantly believes the lies of the Biden regime and coming out of UK...Putin is dead, has thyroid, stomach and blood cancer...Russia will run out of ammo by mid-March, etc. Lies, lies and more lies by a regime that does nothing but lie.

Sure, because at nearly 40,000 dead Russians (on the low end!

That is pure propaganda without any evidence at all to back it up.

It's coming from the same Ukrainians that fired one of their spokeswomen for making stories about Russians raping women, which you, no doubt, believed at the time.

Ukraine is getting its kicked. The Russians will accomplish every single objective they had going into this war.

If Ukraine doesn't unconditionally surrender soon, the Russians will take Odessa and have control over the Black Sea.

The Ukrainians, in coordination with Biden regime, have put out more unfounded propaganda than any nation since Iraq and Baghdad Bob. All Ukrainians do is lie.

Ukrainian is the country that most resembles the old Soviet Union. Everything we accuse Russia is actually true of Ukraine. Zelenksy has imprisoned opposition leaders, banned or suspended all opposition parties and banned opposition media outlets. Neo-Nazi regiments have terrorized and murdered ethnic Russians with government approval. The Ukrainian SBU murders or imprisons critics of the government.

"All Ukrainians do is lie."

Russia has claimed on its telegram channel that Ukraine has had more military casualties than the size of its army. After Ukraine hit a naval tug and shelled a few officers, Russia claimed sea launched cruise missiles took out 50 Ukrainian officers. The Russians have a concept of lying called vranyo.

"You know I'm lying, and I know that you know, and you know that I know that you know, but I go ahead with a straight face, and you nod seriously and take notes."

In Russia, opposing the special military operation or calling it a invasion is a fifteen year prison sentence. Ukraine banned 11 parties with ties to Russia. There are still 50 political parties operating in Ukraine. When a country is invaded, stopping internal opposition siding with the invaders is what happens during war.

Dmitry Valerievich Utkin, founder of the Wagner group operating in Syrian and Eastern Ukraine, has SS tattos on his shoulders.

Neonacizmas Rusijos samdinių tarpe, Neo-Nazism among Russian mercenaries:

So it is OK for Russian Private Military Corporations, with neo-Nazi ideologies and tattoos, paid by Russia to fight for Russian control of Ukraine. Any Ukrainian who fights back is a Nazi because Russia says so.

“If I were the Russians, I’d take control of every inch of Ukraine rather than tolerate out meddling and attempts at insurgencies.”

They didn’t want to, by the Neocons (via Ukraine) has forced their hand. They will demand a surrender in Kiev, although they’ll let Ukraine claim it’s a ‘peace agreement’...but it won’t be, there will be plenty of Russians in Kiev and other cities making sure things get cleaned up, including ridding the country of their Nazis and staying clear of the EU/NATO.

"When is Little Pukin going to visit the front lines?"

Simple, he doesn't have to. Also Putin is not on a world tour begging for money and weapons like gay little Zelensky.

What goes in Russia isn't a secret. There are vloggers showing what is going on. Sergei Baklykov got caught up in an illegal protest. What was his punishment? Questioning and a fine.

What's absurd is that you think our country is a fairer criminal justice system than Russia given what is happening J6 protesters. Some have been held without a bail and haven't been given a trial for 17 months in horrid DC prisons. Others have been given prison sentences longer than arsonists in the George Floyd riots.
