The object of the requirement was to prevent foreigners from the office.
Obviously those born with foreign nationality ARE foreigners.

The Senate resolution that declared McCain to be a natural born citizen (incorrectly) cited his TWO citizen parents as the reason, even though he was born in Panama (the country, not the Canal Zone)

You miss the point. All the violence is a reaction to Trump unleashing the it. Had Trump not been on the scene, then all the violence would not be necessary.
