MSNBC political analyst Cornell Belcher said Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that if Republicans win majorities in the 2022 midterms, we would “lose democracy.”
Belcher said, “Whether or not Trump endorses these Republicans or, you know, he’s backing them is moot because they all propagate the big lie. The big lie now is larger than Trump. It’s bigger than Trump. The big lie right now really is about fear. It’s about being replaced. It’s about the other. It’s about losing power, and so record, regardless of whether they are backing or being endorsed by Trump or not, across the board, you have these Republican candidates who are propagating the lie, and the lie is basically rooted in this fear of losing their country.”

Senators are elected by the people in the state that they represent...Hence, a “representative republic”...
the people who believe this stuff are a threat to themselves and everyone around them
I certainly hope so. We are NOT a democracy.
Democrats not Democracy. You’ve lost Democrats
Commies have convinced themselves that if you use facts and the law, and oppose them, you are a fascist. Or if you think Google or Twitter are bad for NOT telling you about vote fraud or jab injuries, it’s a need for disinformation czars.
They want to kill you. When you can look at a freak Liberal, maybe even a friend, and realize they want you enslaved or dead. Things become crystal clear.
I want to see every news network anchor openly weeping election eve.
“ It’s about being replaced. ”
You know who needs to worry about being replaced ??? Blacks in America. They already are losing out to Hispanics in jobs and housing. In many cities Hispanics have moved in and largely taken over formerly black neighborhoods. In the democrat party power hierarchy, Hispanics are in a steadily ascending role while blacks are in a declining role. The democrat party has bled blacks dry and needs new blood to hang on to power. This is becoming even more critical for them now that the percentage of black voters who are reliably democrat continues to shrink. This is an opportunity for Republicans and Conservatives to welcome independent black Americans and to show them that together we can make America great again for everybody.
Thank you! (Although if it were an Athenian type democracy we could take a vote and ostracize (exile) all the Democrats on a simple majority vote.)
ROFL!!!
If a democratic election doesn’t put communists in office, we’ll lose democracy.
These bastards aren’t stupid ... they think WE’RE stupid.
Yes. I know.

Re: Losing Democracy
Point number one is we don’t live in a democracy (mobocracy) dumbass, we live in a Representative Republic (or at least we used to).
Point number two is if you haven’t noticed, since the PROG/LIB/GREEN/STALINIST/COMMUNIST/DEMOCRATS took over the government everything regular Americans value has gone to shit.
We are currently RULED (not represented) by an out of control and very controlling BUREAUCRATIC SYSTEM of CRIMINAL CRONYISM.
The corrupt courts and DA’s let murderers, rapists, and thieves out onto our streets with no bail, free to rape pillage and murder again and again.
Our intelligence services are more interested in calling our concerned PARENTS TERRORISTS, and trying to track down the mysterious but apparently invisible HORDS OF WHITE SUPREMICISTS.
Our so called Representatives enrich themselves with insider trading, bribery, extortion and threats to the citizens.
Our so called president is a senile old, corrupt, moron who is more concerned with filling his diaper than being an executive officer.
DEMOCRACY; that left the building when our government law and tax officers became the GESTAPO/STASI rather than servants of the people!
You know they talk about democracy and being Democrat, but have they ever even once go onto their constituents and says “hey do you want us to teach your kids transgender ism?” Or more “do you want us to spend all the money in in the treasury until we’re bankrupt?“ Or “do you want us to open up the border and let all the people just stream on in here and fly them all over the country?“.
They keep using the word Democracy which is their euphemism for Communism but the woke crowd doesn’t know that.
The Founders never meant for us to have a Representative Republic! They set up a Constitutional Republic!
The People were to be represented by the House of Representatives who were directly elected by the citizens of the country.
The States were to be represented by the Senators who were appointed by the legislatures of each state.
The House and Senate were expected to handle every aspect of governance for the nation, a Chief Executive was avoided since such a person could easily become a King in all but name.

Thanks for that link, Reilly is one sharp guy.
Maybe there is some hope after all.
The Founders never meant for us to have a Representative Republic! They set up a Constitutional Republic!
If that were true then we wouldn't have, or need, a Constitution.
Also, one thing has to be before the other.
Which came first? The Constitution or representation?
In other words...did the Constitution lay out representation?
The cart and the horse.
Thomas Jefferson Encyclopedia
...the Kentucky Resolutions of 1798: "... in questions of power then, let no more be heard of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the constitution ...."
So, we have no representation...I see....
“yes, many confuse the terms republic with the word representative. They both begin with r.”
And that sad state of affairs is why we are where we are.
I can remember people who couldn’t read or write their own names but had a solid understanding of the intentions of the Founders. They learned by listening and discussing. I remember many political discussions being held in the tobacco barn, hay barn or corn crib while the men worked.
That type of education is why I never fell for the socialist claptrap. Neither did many of my friends.
Unfortunately that type of education has disappeared, replaced by government school indoctrination.
