The January 6th Unselect Committee is disgracing everything we hold sacred about our Constitution. If they had any real evidence, they’d hold real hearings with equal representation.
They don’t, so they use the illegally-constituted committee to put on a smoke and mirrors show for the American people, in a pitiful last-ditch effort to deceive the American public…again.
Our Constitution protects the right to confront accusers, honors the right to fair trials, and holds the right to legal representation as paramount in our justice system. Equal representation and the opportunity to offer rebuttal evidence is fundamental in our legal process. The Committee has obliterated those rights and is making a mockery of justice. They have refused to allow their political opponents to participate in this process, and have excluded all exculpatory witnesses, and anyone who so easily points out the flaws in their story.

The American 4th Estate is effectively dead right now. The screws are turning on limiting the information one will be able to pull off the internet. You can call the January 6 committee whatever you want but it's not a trial. None of what Trump listed applies.
It's a political initiative whose purpose is to make Trump look bad, that's for sure. But there is nothing new in that. Congress does it all the time.

I admit I haven't been following closely but I seem to remember that Trump's side has had every opportunity to respond. Some did - I think all of Trump's kids have testified - but most have refused to appear. I can't say I blame them but they did have the chance.

Right out of the gate DJT has demonstrated an inability to control his impulsive behaviors. This should be a legal document and a serious response to the show trial the democrats are staging. Instead he’s sunk to their level. The adolescent name calling only clouds what he’s trying to say. He should save that for his speeches.
I believe what he’s saying. He was clearly robbed. But this document will only make trump haters feel justified. And supporters will end up trying to ignore the silly sideshows. He’s not going to change any minds with this release.
This is the best single work product ever presented under Trump’s signature.

Of course you haven’t followed and your ignorance shows. First, by house rules the committee is supposed to have an equal amount of Republicans / Democrats. They formed the committee illegally by rejecting all the republicans that where submitted. There is not one person on the committee that isn’t a Trump hater or would request rebuttal witnesses. The political prisoners are still rotting in jail because of this.
Then they found two Trump hating republicans so they can say that the committee is bi-partisan. You comments about Trump side defending itself to the Trump hating bias committee is laughable. They have buried all exculpatory evidence. Thousands of hours of videos are secluded and hidden from the public. Videos have been doctored. Evidence against Trump is selectively edited to show in the worse light.
Lying to the public with impunity is unchallenged in the press. This is a one-sided political witch hunt. And no, there is not one committee in congress formed or created this way.
This is not only an attack on Trump, but all conservatives (excluding you of course).
I forgot to mention, no committee in the history of congress was formed this way.
